Explore Kasese is calling
The mission is simple: let's promote our destination, showcase its beauty, culture, tourism attractions and hidden gems to the world.
Kasese has so much to offer, and it's time we told our story through content, creativity and real experiences.
Good Forests Foundation Uganda has donated 50 tree seedlings to Kasese Influencers to support their tree-planting activity at Rukoki Model Primary School.
The donation is a boost to the #ExploreKasese Campaign's efforts to promote environmental conservation, restore green spaces and position Kasese as a green and sustainable destination.
We appreciate Good Forests Foundation Uganda for supporting this initiative.

STATS
Our target was 8,000 runners in our 5th year like you all know but we ended up with 8229
Due to Ebola, thought number of countries would go down but instead went up to 49 countries represented.
645 runners have run all the 5 editions of @RwenzoriMarathn which is great for fear new marathon.
Serious marathon is seen by how many people register for the FULL MARATHON and below you can see 914 runners registered for 42kms in the fifth year鈥ny runner would know this is massive!
33% were women and this is where we need to up up our game by making sure atleast 50% are women.
Preliminary results out of research by Makerere University, UN GLOBAL PULSE AND one telcom that was involved in research shows that 37k people turned up in kasese from uganda and other countries, majority came for fun.
