Notre Dame won in Rome, grabbing the first big win of the season, as they move into the field in my latest daily Bracketology.

Today felt like a classic ND win man. Underdogs out-athleted, out paid, and (relatively) undersized but found a way to steal a game we were supposed to lose w grit and intensity. Hope we can keep this up 🤞

Still undecided if it’s the best win of the shrewsberry era, but definitely the most fun for me

An upset to get the season going 💥 Notre Dame, picked 16th in the ACC, rallies to upset Villanova, picked third in the Big East, 74-70. Critical season ahead for Micah Shrewsberry. Will be a fun flight home for the Irish.

We’re currently the only 1-0 team in the country. This will be hard for the haters to hear but… As of right now we’re a 1 seed LOCK in March.

All-#class matchup from Shrews and Kevin Willard to kick off the season! Very respectful to Pope and Rome!

Fun first half. These refs suck. I’m so glad college basketball is back Always fun to play Villanova too 🤝

Slowly digging out of that hole the (non) flagrant foul caused us. Shots aren’t falling for us but the intensity on defense and rebounding is giving us a lot of chances.
