Happy Halloween / oíche Shamhna shona from all of us at the Consulate General of Ireland in Toronto!
DYK that 🇮🇪 is the home of Halloween? The Ancient Celts celebrated Samhain, the moment when the veil between life & death was at its thinnest. They wore disguises to blend in with wandering spirits & carved turnips with a candle inside to light their way! bit.ly/48t12gy
Ambassador Concannon joined a delegation of Ambassadors to Regina and Saskatoon last wk, meeting Government, Business & Research leaders. Thank you Saskatchewan for the warm welcome! Looking forward to visiting myself soon!
