Thesis work is out. We address a long-standing debate about the role of striatal neurons in action selection & kinematics. We found neurons implement a push-pull controller, steering progress toward spatial and conceptual goals, generating new predictions. Follow-up coming soon.

Vesicular transport in a bundle of neurons. Made this movie some years ago. Incredible how much material is constantly being moved around in our cells over long distances by tiny (nanometer scale) motor proteins #microscopy, #science, #cells_are_amazing

Our latest paper, the first on robotics: cost ~2K, no machine learning or training needed, cheap parts and 3D printed body, AND no computation of inverse kinematics/dynamics (farewell to some paradigms)
