John Smoltz continues to criticize Jacob Misiorowski because he can’t fathom the idea of someone being better than he ever was in just their second year of Major League Baseball.
He’s a deeply insecure man who can’t accept that someone is succeeding in a way that challenges his conventional ideas about pitching.
There is no analysis from Smoltz anymore, and there hasn’t been in a long time. It’s just projections from a grumpy old man yelling at clouds.

The #Braves today exercised options for OF Ronald Acuña Jr. and INF Ozzie Albies for the 2027 season. Atlanta also reinstated RHPs Spencer Schwellenbach, Spencer Strider and Hurston Waldrep, as well as LHP Joey Wentz, from the 60-day injured list.

This is nothing new. Owners care about the value of the franchise they own. Players care about how much they can/will make. Neither ACTUALLY care about fan experience or competitive balance lol

For the pro salary cap people: The owners couldn’t care less about the fans wanting a “competitive balance”, they want to make their pockets deeper. Ken said it perfectly, a salary cap and floor won’t fix a team like the Reds or Pirates. There are other teams being successful with around the same budget or smaller. They aren’t as innovative as those teams though. That’s the problem. Will spending money help some, probably, but it won’t automatically make things better.

Ex-#Titans DT Jordan Elliott went to his car to retrieve his gun after a practice altercation with OT JC Latham last Thursday (Oct. 15).
After being told to leave the field, Elliott took off his pads and stormed out of the facility, then went to the players' lot. Security cameras captured the sequence. Veteran DL John Franklin-Myers talked him down, and no one was hurt.
The Titans released Elliott on Tuesday after reviewing the incident. He signed a 2-year, $8M deal this offseason.
