How did Lula’s team manage this stunning victory?

- Genuinely transformative and socialist positions
- ACTIVISM!

Batanes is a traditional baluarte of the Liberals, with Noynoy Aquino, Mar Roxas, and Leni Robredo all winning. Here is the map by barangay.
LP will be fielding Luis Abad as their candidate for Nov. 28's special election. Will they retake the seat they have long held?

natdems has made major compromises over the past decade to support the likes of robredo and de lima, while simultaneously receiving inhumane amounts of red-tagging from so-called progressive liberal “allies.” but the moment we make one thing non-negotiable, kami pa ang shitty?

maybe stop treating leni like she's the second coming of jesus?
she is a politician who is not free from criticism and from being held accountable for her actions. it's good that people are questioning where she stands re: isn'treal.

ppl in the replies being more concerned that the interview was conducted in a dunkin donut branch instead of the op being so dramatically dehumanizing to strangers whose lives he knows jack shit about 🧍 you elitist freaks are so comfortable being nasty go to hell 🗣️🗣️🗣️
I’m stuck at Dunkin.
Malakas ang ulan sa labas.
Malakas din ang Ingglesan sa kabilang table. Interview daw ito ng applicants for call center jobs. The BPO company paid this Dunkin branch ₱3K, consumable, as a venue for the interviews.
Dumudugo na tenga ko sa karirinig ng Ingglisan. Tama naman ang grammar ni madam interviewer. But the applicants? I pity them. It’s a torture to listen to them.

WHY ARE WE SO QUICK TO ASSUME POOR PEOPLE WILL TAKE MORE THAN THEY NEED, BUT SO QUIET ABOUT THE PEOPLE AT THE TOP WHO HAVE ALREADY HOARDED MORE THAN ANYONE COULD EVER NEED?

Unironically, good housing especially for the poor is great and puts less a burden on taxpayers btw
Kahit pa magsigawan kayong r*dditoids, paano kayo makakahanap ng maayos na trabaho kung ang address mo ay sa ilalim ng tulay at wala kang uuwian na ligtas o komportable??? Aber???

Honestly this. Ang dami nang pag-aaral, undergrad & masters thesis, dissertation, commissioned reports, peer-reviewed studies about the effectiveness 4Ps. It is not a perfect system, but it is lifting people out of poverty. Google nyo na lang.

Hasan Piker had a heart-to-heart with his community about the power of being 'normal' with the goal of bringing people to our side. It's important to be palatable. He also talked about the dangers of gatekeeping and about why it's important to extend olive branches to those unfamiliar with leftist and socialist ideology: "It's probably unhelpful to make it even less accessible if we are feeding into the preconceived notions of what it means to be a socialist; an annoying woke-scold. I've never done that and perhaps that is a major part of the reason why this community is the size that it is. Throughout many different hinge points when this community has grown, there have always been people that have demanded a retreat over and over again. 'Why are you welcoming these new people? They are reactionary. Why are you welcoming these new people? They are ableist. Why are you welcoming these new people? They are racist and transphobic.' Some of those people we have welcomed with open arms and they have changed their minds over time. Is your goal to have the perfect safe space where no one disagrees with you? Or is your goal to build a mass movement? Purity testing, taking a morally righteous, maximalist position; these are poisonous for community development. Poisonous for organizing."
