No matter how much knowledge you acquire, how deeply you master sarf and nahw, or how many degrees you have, the reality of Islam cannot be reached through knowledge alone.
Knowledge may bring you to the door of the Beloved, but it is love that draws you into His presence.
There is no blessing greater than Iman. Protect it at all costs.
Our eyes and ears are among the quickest paths to the heart. When we fail to guard them, our Iman slowly weakens, and wandering eyes deprive a person of the sweetness of Iman.

Yaḥyā b. Muʿādh wrote to Abū Yazīd, “I have become drunk from drinking so many cups of His love.” Abū Yazīd wrote to him in reply, “You have become drunk and have not even drunk one round. One other than you has drunk the oceans of heaven and earth and is still not satisfied. His
tongue is hanging out [from thirst] and he is crying, ‘Is there any more’ (hal min mazīd)?”

He defeated his brothers, Isa in Anatolia, Suleyman in Rumelia, and finally defeated Musa in 1413, and reunited the Ottoman realm.
Mehmed Çelebi had sent a force to rescue his father from Timur’s captivity. The rescue initially succeeded, but Timur’s soldiers recaptured Bayezid.

Today in Turkey is the day of commemoration of Sultan Murad IV, known as the Conqueror of Baghdad (Bağdat Fatihi) ; the most cruel of all the Osmanoglu sultan-padisahs, surpassing even Mehmet. During his reign alone, he had the Greek Orthodox Patriarch, the Armenian Catholicos, and the Sheikh-ul-Islam strangled. The reason ? he hated Christianity, of course, and could hardly tolerate the existence of a true Christian ; but he also considered himself a deity, like Emperor Nero in Rome.
This wretched monarch now lies in the icy flames of hell for eternity
Sayyiduna Abdullāh ibn Masʿūd (رضي الله عنه) once recited the Qur’an publicly before the pagan Quraysh in Makkah. Despite his companions warning him of the danger, he went to Maqām Ibrāhīm near the Kaʿbah and recited the opening verses of Surah al-Rahman.
After the Battle of Ankara in 1402, when Sultan Bayezid was brought before Timur in his tent at midnight, Timur was playing chess with his son Shahrukh Mirza.
