We would like to clarify the situation regarding Logtun and his role within the Nigeria Axis community. We began working with Logtun on 1 April 2026, initially onboarding him as an Axis Nigeria Ambassador. His primary responsibilities included driving community growth in Nigeria, particularly through KOL onboarding, user acquisition, and project collaborations. Unfortunately, Logtun DID NOT deliver the expected results in his ambassador role. Consequently, we decided not to entrust him with the additional strategic initiatives he proposed, as we had concerns about his ability to execute them and deliver the expected outcomes. We subsequently transitioned him to a Nigeria Moderator role, which he agreed to, presenting himself as a professional moderator (see attached screenshot). His revised scope of responsibilities focused primarily on Discord community management, with no assigned responsibilities for marketing or community growth. Given his limited connections and reach within the local market, I personally took responsibility for growth initiatives, including conducting one-on-one calls with KOLs and securing project collaborations. Regarding his contributions, please refer to the comparison in the screenshot below. Logtun joined the community in January, and his total trajectory contributions are nearly 30 times lower than those of our general Discord moderator, who is responsible for managing general chat, collecting bug reports, and gathering user feedback 24/7. This comparison provides additional context for evaluating his contributions relative to those of other members of the moderation team. It further reinforced my concerns about the value he was bringing to Axis and whether his contributions met our expectations for the role. At his request, we also upgraded his role from Y to Z as a form of recognition for his contributions. Regarding compensation, we explicitly asked whether he preferred to receive base:0x5be75e3b0aff5d1a042a5363ae36acb1d6d755ea tokens or stablecoins. He chose to receive his monthly compensation in stablecoins and waived base:0x5be75e3b0aff5d1a042a5363ae36acb1d6d755ea tokens as part of his remuneration. The team has fulfilled the agreed compensation in full (see attached screenshot). Despite these arrangements, Logtun continued to demand additional bonuses from both me and our co-founder, using tactics that we consider coercive and blackmail-like, even after receiving the agreed stablecoin compensation for his moderator role. We recognize that contributors have the right to raise legitimate concerns about their compensation. However, there is a clear distinction between discussing compensation in good faith and repeatedly demanding additional payments after the agreed terms have been fulfilled. Using threats or coercive tactics to pressure the team into making additional payments is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. In light of these developments, we made the decision to remove Logtun from his role as Nigeria Moderator. Axis values the contributions of its community members, moderators, and ambassadors. We are committed to treating our contributors fairly while upholding clear agreements, consistent standards, and professional boundaries. We are sharing this clarification to help the community understand our perspective based on the circumstances and arrangements outlined above. Our focus remains on building Axis and supporting contributors who share our long-term vision and are committed to working together professionally.
