There's some heat on that post, lmao. I've never had an artist run away with my money, I've never had an artist give me an unreasonable delay or wait. I vet my artists, I look at their portfolios and prior work. Delays happen, people get sick, relatives and pets die:, empathy

I think it always turns into some weird AI shill by people with AI pfp. The bold assumption that I just ignore deadlines. I'm very communicative with the artists and they with me, but I'm also understanding. 🤷 Many of these comments feel bot-like tbh.

But I also do a lot of my comms through vgen, again I do a lot of research on the artist, I'm not just blind firing. I think a lot of the rage comments I see are people who just chose poorly. Don't think I've seen a single reply that's not profanity filled rage typing. LOL

I want my artists to be happy and refreshed when they work on my art. I don't want them to grind something out feeling pressured or sad. I once had an artist apologize for missing their deadline, they wanted to move it ahead a week, I told them set it ahead a month or more.

If there is an established deadline, then maybe I'll be a bit more pushy, but I also am not giving you a weeks notice, I'm giving you several months notice if there is one (I need this before December 31st), etc. Until then, they can do whatever, lol.

The full-time job/full-time vtuber grind is real. It's rough at times, honestly it's rough all the time, but it feels rewarding: it's worth it to me, I'm happy that it might one day bring some good to others. GO is right around the corner.
