State of TX v. @YellaBeezy214:
Yella Beezy’s attorneys filed @DallasPD’s Detective Eric Barnes (@DetEricBarnes) investigation report on Jose Bodega, real name Theodore Thomas, proffer and sealed Grand Jury testimony into evidence with the Dallas County Clerk on Friday, October 16.
In the 5-page debrief with Det. Eric Barnes and Darryl Mapp, it reads that Jose Bodega, with his attorney James Bright, met with AUSA Rick Calvert and Myria Boehm and described his history with Yella Beezy, and Jerry Johnson, better known as Maserati, and Get Rich Cartel (GRC).
Jose Bodega said he rapped for Yella Beezy for 4 years under the belief that he would be signed to his label Profit Music Group a.k.a P.M.G. Jose Bodega said that Yella Beezy did not put "one penny" behind his music career, in fact he hurt his career by pretending to sign Jose Bodegs to P.M.G which kept other labels attempting to sign him.
According to Jose Bodega, for years Yella Beezy told Bodega that his label was working on completing his contract and, but he never saw any money or a contract.
Jose Bodega believes that Yella Beezy used signing him to keep him around for the purpose of watching Yella Beezy’s back.
Jose Bodega claimed that Yella Beezy kept most of the money and only cared about him and Trapboy Freddy, while the label struggled.
Jose Bodega told investigators he overheard Yella Beezy and Maserati arguing over payment to Kewon White (@fgc_banzzobling) for the November 11, 2020 deletion of Mo3 (@Mo3_Badazz).
Jose Bodega claimed Yella Beezy and rapper Trapboy Freddy (@TRAPBOYFREDDY) were each expected to contribute $20,000, but Freddy never paid his share.
Jose Bodega told investigators he was with Yella Beezy in California when Mo3 was unalived and that Yella Beezy was pleased by the news and immediately logged onto social media. Jose Bodega claimed he received an @Instagram call from Kewon White the night before Mo3 was deleted.
Jose Bodega claimed that Maserati allegedly assumed responsibility for Kewon White's jail deposits, bond expenses and attorney fees after he was arrested and after Yella Beezy allegedly stopped contributing.
Jose Bodega claimed that Yella Beezy gave money to Maserati’s mom after he was a arrested on federal drug charges.
Jose Bodega described Get Rich Cartel's alleged drug operations, financial arrangements and relationships with Profit Music Group.
Yella Beezy mur-for-hire trial begins October 26 in Dallas, Texas, with Judge Chika Anyiam presiding.
Yella Beezy is represented by criminal defense attorney Toby Shook (@toby_shook), Michael Mowla, and John Gussio.

I broke a story this morning at 6:50am that I’d spoken to the family of Sean Diddy Combs who told me that the reported fight with a Jamaican drug lord was false.
Thanks to the outlets who actually attributed my exclusive, properly.
I’m glad my original reporting hours ago during “The Latest w/ Loren LoRosa” on @breakfastclubam could point yall in the right direction tho @TMZ

.@Tunji is genuinely one of the greatest creative minds I had the opportunity to work with during my time at Beats by Dre. Watching him go on to lead Def Jam was a testament to his vision, talent and years of hard work.
With today’s industry shakeup, I’m wishing him nothing but continued success. His impact speaks for itself, and I know there’s much more ahead.

This is actually the year Hip-Hop monoculture died.
A list of 30 in 2006 is literally like a snowflake — no identical lists.
It’s also revisionist history to mix Albums and Mixtapes @ComplexMusic — pull up the actual 2006 list
I didn't participate in ranking these for @ComplexMusic, but I did write the blurbs for some of these and I had an absolute blast doing it. This isn't even a year that I immediately think of fondly, but I had such close relationships to these albums. complex.com/music/a/dimassan…
Yes, ___ is indeed the most slept on. I remember him half-laughing off putting a 🎯 on his back for making “Sly Fox”
Jay-Z became a MTV mainstay literally with his 1st single “Ain’t No” because it was boosted by the Nutty Professor OST; Can I Get A/Anything/HNK/Do It Again also reigned before Big Pimpin smh
