The night that changed me.
This is the night that changed my career trajectory.
My first sold out show- in Harare. It was March 2024.
The night was oversubscribed because when ticket outlets told me the tickets were sold out I didn't believe them, I genuinely thought there was a mistake somewhere so I printed some more just to be sure ๐.
On this night, something was born in me. The full confidence that I was actually a stand up comedian. That I really could do this as a career.
It was reps theatre, from there we went bigger and did 7 Arts Theatre, twice as big.
Last year we had to do two nights at 7 Arts so this time around we go bigger. The tour shutdown is taking place December 19th at the Celebration Centre.
I'm inviting you to be part of history. You are going to love it.

My dad used to completely lose interest in a movie if something stupidly unbelievable happened in it. But understand, this meant that if he was watching a werewolf movie and a character went to the post office on Sunday when theyโre closed, heโs stop watching.

A bit different to your usual pie and chips in the stands in Australia, this vendor in Harare would have had plenty of mouths watering with his BBQ chicken.

For Lizzy Chipoya, a sewing machine is a future. A widow and mother of four, she is learning tailoring at Doors Of Hope on TWAM sewing machine, making bags to sell locally.
Her aim? To open a centre where she can train vulnerable women herself.
โI hope to change lives myself.โ๐งต

This was like the header he played to himself at Brighton in July 2020. Itโs been pretty miserable listening to people say โheโs finishedโ or โheโs playing for himselfโ heโs taken an extraordinary amount on his shoulders. The best of his era. Simple.

PLEASE SHARE๐๐พ | 36-year-old, Sharon Nyika needs your help. In 2024, she was diagnosed with lupus nephritis, a condition where her immune system mistakenly attacked her kidneys, eventually leading to complete kidney failure.
Today, Sharonโs life depends on dialysis three times every week which cost US$100 per session. While dialysis is keeping her alive, it is only a temporary lifeline. In an incredible act of love, courage, and sacrifice, Sharonโs mother, Francisca has stepped forward to become her donor, giving her the chance of a healthier future.
The transplant is planned at Medglobal Access, Hyderabad, India, where Sharon and her mother will undergo the necessary evaluations, surgery, and post-operative care required for this life-changing procedure.
Now we need your help to make this life-saving transplant possible. The funds raised will go directly towards:
- The kidney transplant surgery for both Sharon and her mother
- Pre-operative testing, medical assessments, and specialist evaluations
- Post-transplant immunosuppressant medication, which Sharon will need for the rest of her life
- Recovery costs, accommodation, and support while both Sharon and her mother are unable to work during their healing process
We believe in the kindness and generosity of a supportive community. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring Sharon one step closer to receiving the gift of life.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask that you share this message with your family, friends, and networks. Your support could help reach someone who can make a life-changing difference.

PLEASE SHARE๐๐พ | 5-year-old Aiden needs your help
Five-year-old Aiden was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in June 2024. He has gone through months of chemotherapy and treatment, but sadly, his cancer has returned.
Doctors have said that chemotherapy is no longer enough and that Aiden urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. The procedure is not available in Zimbabwe, so he has been referred to Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India.
The family has so far managed to raise just over US$17,000 of the US$41,500 needed for his treatment. They are now racing against time to raise the remaining funds and get Aiden the transplant he urgently needs.
The family is appealing for donations, no matter how small, and is also asking people to share the fundraiser widely.

I saw a post on @loiceMututuvar1 about a guy asking for divorce advice.
Iโm sharing this for anyone who might be going through the same. Its long but take time to consider each point. The guy said he was 40 years old.
At 40, his life is not over. Divorce can hit several parts of a manโs identity at once, marriage, home, finances, friendships, confidence and sometimes access to his children. The key is not trying to repair everything simultaneously.
Here is a few practical actions to consider:
Stabilise before rebuilding. For the first few months, concentrate on the basics: sleep, food, exercise, work and staying connected to trustworthy people. Avoid major emotional decisions made out of anger, loneliness or desperation.
Get brutally clear about the finances. Write down every asset, debt, bill, income source and legal obligation. Build a bare-bones budget around housing, food, transport, children and debt. Cancel unnecessary expenses and speak to creditors early rather than hiding from them. If property, pensions/superannuation, maintenance or significant debt is involved, get proper legal and financial advice.
Donโt try to maintain your old lifestyle. This is where many people make things worse. Your financial circumstances have changed, perhaps temporarily. Downsize if necessary. Pride is expensive. Recovery requires accepting todayโs reality while working toward tomorrowโs.
Protect your income. Unless the job itself is damaging you, donโt resign impulsively. Your earning capacity is one of your biggest recovery assets. Once youโre stable, look at overtime, training, qualifications, promotion or a sensible additional income stream.
Donโt medicate the pain with another relationship. Loneliness can make the first person who shows affection look like the answer. Heal enough that your next relationship is a choice, not an anaesthetic.
Stay away from destructive coping mechanisms. Excessive alcohol, gambling, reckless spending, revenge, social-media wars and casual relationships can turn one crisis into five.
If there are children, donโt make them participants in the divorce. Never recruit them against their mother. Be consistent, present and dependable. The marriage may have ended; fatherhood hasnโt.
Build a small support system. You donโt need twenty people. You need two or three mature people with whom you can speak without pretending youโre fine. A counsellor or therapist can also be valuable, not because youโre weak, but because divorce is a major life transition.
Give yourself measurable goals. Instead of saying, โI need to get my life back,โ say: โIn 90 days I want no overdue bills. In six months I want $X saved. I want to exercise three times a week. In twelve months I want this particular debt reduced by X.โ Progress becomes visible.
Donโt make your ex-wifeโs future your business. Who sheโs seeing, where sheโs going and whether she appears happier will consume energy you desperately need for your own recovery. Handle whatever communication is legally or practically necessary and redirect the rest toward rebuilding.
And perhaps the most important thing I would tell anyone going through this,
At 40, youโre not finished.
Donโt measure your future by the condition of your life immediately after the divorce. A demolished building site looks terrible precisely because reconstruction hasnโt happened yet.
You donโt need to rebuild your entire life this month. Win today. Then win this week. Then win this month.
Financial recovery may take years. Emotional recovery may take time too. But at 40, you potentially have decades of productive life ahead of you.
Donโt waste those decades mourning the chapter that closed. Learn from it, recover from it, and start writing the next one.
Good luck and feel free to make contact for a chat if you need.
PLEASE SHARE๐๐พ | 5-Year-Old Aiden Needs Our Help. We Have 2 Weeks.
Aiden is just 5 years old. He is a happy, loving little boy who enjoys playing sports, laughing, and being around his family and friends.
In June 2024, our lives changed when Aiden was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Since then, he has gone through months of difficult chemotherapy and treatment. He has been incredibly brave throughout it all.
We recently received the news we were praying we would never hear Aidenโs leukemia has come back.
His doctors have told us that chemotherapy is no longer enough and that he urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available in Zimbabwe, and Aiden has been referred to Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India.
We have been given a very short time to raise the money needed for his treatment. Our goal is $41,500 USD, and we are hoping to reach it within the next two weeks. We know this is a lot to ask, but we are asking for your help because we don't want to give up on Aiden.
If you can donate, no matter how small the amount, it will mean so much to our family. If you aren't able to donate, please share this fundraiser with your friends, family, WhatsApp groups, contacts, and anyone who might be able to help. Most importantly, please keep Aiden in your prayers.
He is only five. He still has so much life ahead of him. We want to see him back at school, playing sports, laughing, and enjoying being a little boy.
Aidan received his last jab of life-saving treatment on the 14th of August 2026. Now, we are racing against time and the raging cancer. We desperately need to raise the funds for his treatment and bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to getting Aidan the bone marrow transplant he so desperately needs. We are holding on to hope and praying for a miracle.
Please help us give Aiden another chance. Thank you for reading his story and for anything you can do to help. โค๏ธ
