Unfortunate reports emerged this morning that grime artist and producer Dot Rotten, real name Joseph Ellis-Stephenson, has passed away.
He was widely recognised as one of grime’s early pioneers, known for his work as both an MC and producer during the genre’s formative years. Across the 2000s and beyond, he helped shape the sound of the scene with his distinctive production and lyrical style.

I am thinking of more ways I can use this gift to help others who are struggling or in need of help. I have already surpassed my expectations of what I could do and have done. I wonder what I can do next. Music is to be shared and uplift others. #MusicianJourney #Music
Pretty happy with what I have achieved. I just need to figure out how I am going to deliver it now. So many friends and supporters I have made in my journey of music. I really took it worldwide. I have raised money for charity with my craft.
