My feed is full of GRVT 2.0 posts lately and somehow I feel we're missing a pretty important part of buyback story.
Where did money actually come from?
Was going through @grvt_io's announcement again and found something worth mentioning.
The first 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf buyback was funded using a portion of the app's gross profit.
And the purchases weren't executed directly by the token issuer either. An independent execution partner handled that part.
Two details that deserve a bit more attention imo.
- one connects the buyback to actual business activity, the other explains how the purchases were carried out.
- future rounds are intended monthly, though still discretionary.
For me, understanding where the funds come from matters just as much as knowing how many tokens got burned.
Something about @grvt_io's numbers made me look twice.
Around $34M in TVL but nearly $430M in OI
Quite a gap, right?
And over $14B in perp volume in the last 30 days.
Now, OI isn't the same as money deposited, so comparing those two directly doesn't tell us everything.
But it does show there's a lot more trading exposure than the TVL number alone might suggest.
That's what makes Grvt 2.0 worth following for me.
The exchange already has trading activity. Now I'm more interested in whether the new products can bring in fresh capital and give traders more reasons to stick around.
More than another big volume milestone, that's the progress I'd like to see
Looking forward 🤜🤛

Earn or trade?
Why should we always have to pick one?
Say there's $1k sitting in an earn product.
Normally we'd have to move some of it out or keep extra funds ready if we wanted to trade.
But @grvt_io is working on something different for Grvt 2.0.
With yield as margin, eligible earn balances are planned to work as trading collateral while continuing to earn yield.
So the money doesn't necessarily stop earning just because we're using it to back a position.
I think that's a pretty useful idea.
Of course the trading risk doesn't disappear. A losing position can still put our collateral at risk.
And the actual margin rules will matter a lot
But i'm interested in seeing whether grvt can make this feel simple enough to use without constantly moving money around.
Expected in November. Let's see how it goes.

0% trading fees
Sounds like a pretty good deal until we remember that perps have another cost called funding.
And yeah, funding isn't new. We've been dealing with it for years.
What @grvt_io is proposing with stable funding perps is a different setup:
➤ No trading fees
➤ Funding once daily
➤ Stocks, fX, commodities & indices
➤ 1k+ markets targeted by december
The part that stands out to me isn't even the zero fee.
It's bringing all those traditional markets into a perp trading experience with a different funding schedule.
Ofc oncedaily funding doesn't automatically make it cheaper. Rates still decide what we actually pay or receive.
But imagine having access to that many markets without jumping between different brokers.
That's the kind of expansion that could bring an entirely different crowd of traders to Grvt.
Not just the usual crypto perp crowd
Let them cook🫵
A fancy ai agent profile doesn't really tell us much about how good that agent is
Anyone can write a nice description, promise great results and list a bunch of services.
But has it actually completed any paid work?
That's the part I'd check first.
On @termix_ai's agent.family, reputation is connected to onchain job outcomes, not just what an agent claims about itself.
Jobs go through escrow, delivery and settlement, with a dispute process if something goes wrong.
So there's at least a record we can look at before trusting an agent with a task.
Doesn't mean every highly rated agent will deliver perfect work.
But I'd rather see a history of completed jobs than another profile full of promises.
Browse the agents yourself: agent.family
CZ was right!
Ai doesn't need to break cryptography to increase phishing and social engineering
But if same ai can work and earn money instead of just scamming, the story flips
@termix_ai showing that side - give the agent skill and it can take orders itself, deliver and receive payment onchain
Phishing will increase, that's true.
But agents that work and earn will create more real value
Stay SAFU but also make the agent earn🫡😎

Real cost of trading just only fees?
(IMO not)
_____
It's the capital that has to stop working so you can stay ready for the next trade
We usually forced into one of three choices:
- keep it in stables that earn nothing.
- lock it into yield and lose the ability to move fast.
- stay fully invested and hope no better setup shows up
None of those are efficient when we waiting more than trading
And I absolutely love @grvt_io's direction with yield as margin.
Eligible earn balances can stay productive as trading margin instead of sitting idle + capital keeps earning while remaining usable.
That fits single balance idea they've been building.
Grvt earn (late oct) targets yields up to 11% from tokenized fixed income strategies
Rest of the 2.0 pieces follow in November
Smart capital efficiency indeed!
Epoch 2 of @primus_labs on kaito is live now
Runs until November 21, so there's still plenty of time to get involved
And don't forget about primus points program
Keep checking for new verification tasks and stack some xp along the way
Good luck to everyone participating this round 🤝
Tried myself @primus_labs shield on $BNB
- Connected wallet
- Swapped some USDT for eUSDT and balances just...disappear from public view
Still mine though! 😁
>> Btw non custodial whole way, no new wallet, no bridge
>> You can hold, send or throw it into their vault for yield (juicy apy) and the amounts stay encrypted
Feels closer to how your bank account works than a typical mixer
>> Funds stay under your control and eUSDT is 1:1, so unshielding is always an option
>> But yes vault redemptions take a bit (batch + 7 day unlock) but that's the trade off for keeping positions private
Also we know backed by YZi Labs and listed as an official BNB privacy partner + more on..
So yeah pretty smooth and most usable confidential vault i've tried on BNB so far

That's roughly 0.96% of circulating supply - gone for good 👏 + can't be recovered by anyone even including team

@grvt_io completed its first buyback and burn - 1.1 million ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf bought on open market and permanently burned
Further buybacks are planned monthly
Grvt 2.0 is positioned as an investing app where everyday we can earn and trade from a single self custodial balance.
Upcoming pieces include:
> Upgraded Earn product (targeting higher yields from real fixed income assets)
> Stable Funding Perps
> Using Earn balances as trading margin
> A refreshed app
Dashboard: grvt.io/exchange/buybacks

Jensen: next frontier is AGENTIC AI
agents that actually do work, hire other agents, get paid
@termix_ai building exactly that commerce layer on bnb + Yzi backed
on chain escrow, reputation, agents hiring agents
from the ones looking at this problem imo this one makes sense + tech looks solid
cooked if they execute🫡
TermiX raised $1M from YZi Labs and here are some actionable insights you can do to position into it
> Do some activity on their core marketplace at agent.family - the place where AI agents hire other AI agents, with on-chain identity (ERC-8004), escrow (ERC-8183), staking, reputation and settlement in USDC/USDT (BNB, Base, Robinhood)
More here: docs.termix.ai/product/overv… and termix.ai
> Join their points campaign for possible future utility/rewards - agent.family/points
Starter points (~1,400 TP):
- Follow @termix_ai + join Discord and verify (+500 each)
- Register a Client Agent + Provider Agent (+200 each)
Then keep farming via:
- X posts (submit up to 2 daily that mention @termix_ai / agent.family - scored on engagement)
- Referrals (earn 5–20% of qualified invitees points depending on tier)
- Settled agent jobs (the real weight - client earns ~100 TP per $1 up to $100, scaling down slightly for larger jobs; provider gets half)
Agent registration needs a bit of gas.
Points are an off chain ledger tied to verified activity (not transferable/buyable) and described as future utility weight.
@termix_ai is building the clearing/settlement layer for the agent economy - trustless A2A commerce where funds sit in escrow and reputation comes from settled outcomes!!
Still early with real jobs flowing

Everyone wants privacy in DeFi.
But most solutions either hide everything or force you to leave the chain
What if you could prove you have the funds…earn yield…and settle on-chain…
without exposing your full balance?
@primus_labs is building exactly that!!
🧵
6/
Funding so far:
- ~$6.5M seed (@VanEck, Dispersion Capital, Symbolic Capital lead)
- + YZi Labs incubation round (~$500k)
Total roughly $7M
So yes early but not empty handed
7/
The bet is simple:
Institutional and serious capital wants to come on chain, but won't if every position is public.
If that demand materializes, infra like @primus_labs becomes useful and still early
Execution and real adoption will decide
What's your take? is selective privacy more useful than full privacy for onchain finance
