So all 50+ hours I've spent rotting away at this game, the nearly 10,000 chests I've opened
For all I know, 30 of those hours in total I was NEVER going to find it because of this rigged system?

ADDING MORE FROM THE GAME FILES ON HOW TREASURE HUNT PRIZES ACTUALLY WORK
Prize table is DT_DelilahTreasureHunt_Prizes (build 43.00). 16 prizes total
Pirate Shop Access is the only one set to PreRollOnly. All other 15 are AttemptPreRoll
This means the Pirate Shop token is the only prize determined exclusively before the chest opens. The other 15 can be considered during the pre-roll but arenβt restricted to that phase
Other prizes
- 10 cosmetics (Major/Supreme): 2 gold outfits, pickaxe, back bling, 2 jam tracks, 2 loading screens, 2 gold car decals. One-time only. They drop from Treasure Hunt chests and get added to your account through a quest reward.
- 5 Sprite Gizmos (Standard): Lucky Locator, Relic Finder, smugglerβs key, etc. Can be won multiple times, go straight into match inventory.
Roll behavior
- Prize roll is requested the first time a player tries to open a Treasure Hunt chest (or if destroyed before opening).
- Roll finishes first, then the chest opens and drops normal loot.
- Gold chest animation is skipped for Standard tier prizes.
- No per-match limit in the files (PerMatchMaxAmount: -1).
Server pools
- Prizes come from pools with start/end times + StartingInventory / RemainingInventory.
- Each week has separate RegularPrizes and PowerHourPrizes lists.
