Watched βClayface.β I wasnβt familiar with the character from DC, but I enjoyed the film. Iβve always loved the science fiction films of the 1950s and β60s, particularly those about lonely men who gradually transform into something monstrous through scientific experiments, accidents, clinical trials, and the like. Richard Mathesonβs novel βThe Shrinking Manβ (1956), and films such as βThe Flyβ (1958) and β4D Manβ (1959). The facial disfigurement also reminded me of βEyes Without a Faceβ (1959), βThe Face of Anotherβ (1966), and βThe Skin I Live Inβ (2011). As a body horror film, βClayfaceβ will undoubtedly be compared to βThe Flyβ (1986) and βThe Substanceβ (2024). But this is the story of a method actor who can become anyone through his performances, only to suffer a disfiguring facial injury and eventually gain the extraordinary ability to physically transform into anyone. Whether you see it as the story of a man who takes his revenge and descends into villainy, or as a tragedy, changes the very face of the film. While I was there, I also picked up a reprint of the original theatrical pamphlet for βThe Man Who Stole the Sun.β

This shit irritates me. They donβt have policies, they just have fake culture wars. Immigrants, Muslims, Trans, Gays, and Socialism are buzz words now. They just throw them around to fear monger Americans into believing we are about to be taken over by social extremist

Yes Iβm almost 30 and live with my parents but Iβm bill free. I only pay for my cellphone and Lyft to work. Iβll move out when rent is what it was like 7 years ago. I refuse to pay anything over $1200 and even thatβs a stretch.
