/Food for thought & pls RT to get this out: The RP world is pretty small, esp Marvel. At some point we all talk in one way or another & voice opinions based on what behaviors we’ve seen, interactions between others, & general vibe. If you find yourself wanting to write with someone, chances are they are busy, they’re shy, or they can’t think of a SL to write with you. It may genuinely NOT be because they don’t want to write. With that said- there are accounts that like to accumulate followers with little interaction beyond a handful of people/muses. That is their choice. You decide ultimately who you add or subtract from your circle. Some people are, IRL & here, problematic at the least. They sew discord amongst others & then get upset when it inevitably leads to loss of followers, yet they see no wrong doing. That’s on them. For the record, and I want to make this ABUNDANTLY clear, I’m speaking in generalizations, not of specifics but if the shoe fits? Lace that bitch up, Cinderella. I, myself, see people following me & my brain genuinely thinks “what the hell could I write with them?” I don’t unfollow them though because I may enjoy their content or I have hopes of a SL at some point. Doing that does not make one a follower account. At the end of the day, we are all just people with lives. Not everyone will like one another and that’s okay. But if you genuinely question something, **ASK** because communication is the only way to find out. Just remember, not liking their answer doesn’t make that person mean or spiteful. It means they are carefully curating their space here. Our diet isn’t just what we eat. It’s the music, the people, the movies and games. It’s everything we utilize in our individual lives & if you find your’s is lacking, perhaps you should reevaluate it. My space here will always be drama free. If I find behavior that I decide doesn’t align with my values, I unfollow. It’s not an insult. It’s a grace, saying I’m not right for you & I’m adult enough to understand that. Lastly, & thank you if you made it this far: Be kind to one another. Stop with the pettiness. Stop judging. If it aligns with who you are? Enjoy it. If it doesn’t? Scroll on by.
