Query letter breakdown:
Hi ____,
HOOK (pitch)
BOOK (metadata; word count, genre, comps)
COOK (your bio)
Thanks,
(Author Name)
But you can flip HOOK and BOOK if you'd like! The important part is that the information is there.
I’ll be closing to queries July 8th and reopen late summer or early fall to select genres only.
If you’re waiting on a response from me, due to my upcoming Oxford University in residency writing program this summer, replies may be delayed a bit, but I will respond. #amquerying

Not everyone is going to love what I write.
But I'm the one who will be working on the darn thing for months and months. So I better love it!
