Using your voice for freedom is easy:
1. Sign the petition.
2. Record yourself singing or lip syncing the song, “Hold on (Change is Coming') by Sounds of Blackness.
3. Upload it to social media using #SingForFreedom and tag 2 friends to join in.
3 days ago I lost friend that I haven’t spoken to in years. We didn’t agree on everything which is why we haven’t spoken and I regret it deeply. Yet I still loved and thought of him. I wish I had taken the initiative fix our friendship. He is with the LORD now and I miss him! ❤️🩹
My friend Chris and I are starting a new series on #lectio365 I hope you can join us ❤️Izwe

The ☀️ is out! For me this means going out in the garden and getting it ready for spring and summer! Roses are only as good as the ability and willingness of the gardener to prune them. #happysunshineday #gardening #spring #hope
I have been invited to come take the #COVID19Vaccine. I think this might be a mistake as I am neither old enough nor in the vulnerable group or am I🤔? 💉💉
To all my theologian friends out there, please note that I am not in any way shape or form trying to be controversial. But, is it possible that book of Hebrews could have been written by a woman? Specially Phoebe whom by all accounts was a close ally to the apostle Paul? #Hebrews

If anyone had a right to question whether our democracy was worth redeeming, it was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Because in the face of billy clubs and lynchings, poll taxes and literacy tests, he never gave in to violence, never waved a traitorous flag or gave up on our country.
“May God’s image in me be restored, and my imagination in God be re-storied.
May the gravity of material things be lightened, and the relativity of time slow down.
May I know grace to embrace my own finite smallness
in the arms of God’s infinite greatness.” Sabbath blessing

For all #Lectio365 pray-ers out there:
Many are having problems with the audio on the app today. So sorry
Rest assured we know about the problem and we’re doing all we can to fix it
You can read through today’s devotional & we’ll get you listening again as soon as we’re able!
I have the awesome privilege of leading prayer on #lectio365 this week, leading up to Christmas Day. Come join me and let’s pray together and re-centre our scattered senses upon the very presence of God.
Today’s #lectio365 is a very powerful one particularly for me. It really hits so deep and I find myself challenged and moved in an unexpected way. I pray God keeps working in our broken nation. We need to heal from the trauma of not being able to forgive and asking forgiveness.
I can’t stand Black History month! Why is my rich, colourful and to some extend painful history just relegated to a month?
Black history must be part of the curriculum not just a subject we get teach and hear about in just one month.
Our history is far too big, too Rich and diverse to fit in just one month. #makeblackhistorypartofthecurriculum
