Eight years ago I rated Kevin Mulcaire as one of the best junior distance runners we've ever had. After eight years of injury after injury, he's back.

Take three minutes and feel better about humanity.
At the Olympics, Jamaican hurdler @ParchmentHansle accidentally showed up to the wrong venue for his race.
A young woman gave him taxi money to get to the right stadium.
He won gold.
Then, he tracked down the woman to say thank you.
It's beautiful.

Alright lads, please listen up, especially everyone who claims they are “Irish” (A.K.A most Americans). On this important day, I have an important message: It is NEVER St. Patty. Nobody knows who Patty is. It’s St. Paddy’s Day. You’re not Irish if you say St. Patty. Trust me.

'Cancer can take away all my physical abilities, but it cannot touch my mind, cannot touch my heart and cannot touch my soul.' Unreal video about the Impact that Jimmy V and Kay Yow left at NC State both on and off the basketball court.
Kay Yow and Jim Valvano. Two of the best.

Awful news: Jerry Kiernan has passed away at the age of 67.
He finished 9th in the Olympic marathon in 1984, and in recent years he was coach to many of Ireland's best athletes, including Ciara Mageean and John Travers.
