“If we look to our leaders for leadership, is this the best we have to offer?”
Jamaicans for Justice unequivocally condemns the recent disorder in Gordon House. Concerns about how the House is run must be raised through reasoned argument and proper procedure, not through scenes that disgrace Parliament.

There’s no UN “case” against Jamaica. The UN Human Rights Committee is carrying out a routine review of Jamaica’s human rights record. Both the Government and civil society submitted reports. That’s how the process works.
Our joint report to the UN Human Rights Committee recognises the progress Jamaica has made, including the Integrity Commission Act, the Child Diversion Act and the reduction in murders. But we still have a long way to go. The report also addresses police use of force, sexual and gender-based violence, an independent national human rights institution, and other calls made over the years.
Don’t take our word for it, or anyone else’s. Read the full report for yourself: tr.ee/51XbPE
