So excited: My comedy short SUCH A DEAL that I co-wrote with director @dionnafilm will be playing at the Woods Hole Film Festival Aug. 5. I’ll be in town as of Tuesday. Looking forward to everything about this festival. @WHFF

The landscape on Roosevelt Island can be quite magical, especially when a thick blanket of fog settles in.

Picturesque Lake Memphremagog in downtown Magog is bordered by a lovely more-than-a-mile ice skating path. #Quebec #EasternTownships #travel

In Quebec’s Eastern Townships, a visit to the Abbey of St. Benoit du Lac is a must-do, for the overwhelming sense of tranquility, the scenic vistas, eclectic architecture, and insights into the monastic life. This is an image of the St. Benoit Chapel.

I’m often attracted to colors and shapes. This is inside the contemporary interpretive center at the Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises, a stellar protected ecosystem in Quebec that offers insights into the life of this expansive wetland.

Whether you ski Quebec’s Mount Bromont or take the gondola to the 1,800 foot summit, it’s worth hanging out at the ultra contemporary Summit Lodge for the stellar sunsets.

Norway’s Lofoten Islands are ideal for cycling, with roads so scenic you never tire of the placid melding of sky, sea and land.

One of my favorite parts of Spain is Extremadura where I traveled all over by bus to explore castles, monasteries and other monumental structures.

After the devastating derailment last year that spilled toxic chemicals, it’s the rail industry, including Norfolk Southern, as well as GOP in congress that they lobby that all fight safety regulations! washingtonpost.com/business/…

I’m so thrilled to learn that my wacky comedy feature script “By The Hour” is now a finalist in the Cinequest Screenplay Competition. (My screenplay is in the Top 10!). ⚡️🌟💥

Each of the 9 islands that makes up the Azores has a distinct personality, but they all brim with precious treasures. (I’ve visited 8 of them.)

Sardinia is best experienced from a bike seat. I’ve pedaled the entire west coast where I inspected Bronze Age ruins not far from the fortified city of Alghero and numerous waterfront locations replete with fishing boats and peaceful cafes.

More countries — including the U.S. — need to rise up against fascism and would-be fascists waiting in the wings!
This is Berlin today. Calling for resistance against the Far Right. All around Germany, people took to the streets in the last days. History tells us: We cannot wait until it is too late and Fascists are in power. We have to stand up to them. NOW.

Corsica is one of my favorite places for handmade pottery and other crafts, fine wines, wildly scenic hiking trails and phenomenal cuisine. This is an image from one of the villages in La Balagne.

I’ve visited Iceland many times, soaking up the peace, beauty and solitude. This is the black church of Budir. It’s nowhere near lovely Grindavik that’s seeing such destruction because of the volcanic eruptions. I’m heartbroken for the entire community.
