Couldn’t agree more! Different from what I expected but 10/10 for me!
I watched #projecthailmary last night. Now keep in mind I’m an absolute sucker for friendly alien movies. Having said that I LOVED it. Movie of the year for me. Would never see it in a theater cause I’m not comfortable crying in public but it’s a must watch. 93 tomato for me

1. Warning….long post hoping to inspire feeling and critical thinking in what I feel is a world lacking in both. This photo was at the finish of a 15 mile hike by my wife and I today. I hadn’t had cell service for most all day.
7. Or as some say “paying their fare share”. This woman is a saint and a beautiful soul and the idea that so many would not appreciate that because her impact wasn’t made by paying over 50% of her income to taxes makes me frustrated to say the least.
6. Now, her impact was made because she had a beautiful heart. She was not this negative caricature that many give to the “wealthy” and she was able to make a beautiful impact through philanthropy….not by giving more to an inefficient government by means of paying more in taxes
5. She donated most of her resources over the years impacting 100s if not thousands of people young and old. I know, because I was blessed to be a part of much of her giving.
4. Now, a little about this special someone, she is a 103 and worked hard to be a successful woman business leader. She never got caught up in the politics of today (or yesteryears for all I know).
3. I immediately found myself overwhelmed with emotion and the need to say farewell. Additional friends worked to get beside her and allow me to say goodbye while 6,300 miles away.
2. Moments before this photo was taken I got in cell range and received several texts. One very important text stood out. A good friend, letting me know that someone very special to me was actively dying.
