1/17 I’m an icon of conscious consumption. There’s only a mug and a book in my cell. I only get a spoon and a plate at mealtimes. They even took away my prison clothes and gave me temporary ones. Now I have huge white letters SHU on my back. Greetings from solitary confinement.

1/16 Yesterday I watched the “session of the Security Council”, this gathering of dotards and thieves (it seems to me that our Anti-Corruption Foundation has done investigations into the corruption of every single one of them).

Important context about a rising star in the House GOP from a journalist who knows her record and district better than most —>
Thread: For six+ years I covered @EliseStefanik @RepStefanik as closely as any journalist, following her through rural Upstate #adirondack towns in #ny21, watching her build political strength, visiting her in Washington DC. Here are my takeaways. 1/

The schools manage endowments approaching $80 billion and profess diversity, equity and inclusion as core values. They also receive federal funding, which requires them to abide by anti-discrimination laws in all activities. The collective answer: They're not saying much.

As demand for vaccinations continues to be high, we are experiencing temporary outages on our vaccine scheduler. We are working to resolve them as quickly as possible to ensure a scheduling experience that helps achieve the shared goal of vaccinating vulnerable populations.

Update!! We've gotten several calls that this isn't working. @healthvermont says @Walgreens is experiencing technical issues, so it's currently NOT accepting 65+ registrations for #COVID19Vaccine appointments. Health officials advise checking back in later.

The U.S.-Canada border has been closed to non-essential travel since March, and that could last for months longer. Canada has little interest in opening to Americans until the U.S. gets the pandemic under control. More ⬇️
