Floris lawyers:
“What is going on at the DC US Attorney’s Office? In the middle of the night, the government filed an unsigned and unsworn complaint attempting to fix the issues with their original charge against Ms. Floris and adding a new charge just as meritless as the first one.
“In our combined decades of DOJ service, we have never seen or even heard of something like this being filed. That’s because the public lodging of criminal charges must be authorized by the grand jury, a judge, or the defendant herself. Here, the government has taken that power for itself in a desperate attempt to delay our client’s right to challenge the charges in court and litigate this case in the media, rather than the courtroom. We have asked to address this outrageous government conduct against a decorated public servant at today’s court hearing.”
While you were sleeping: DOJ files superseding complaint, adds obstruction counts in case against former FBI agents Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides
Preliminary hearing set for today at 11 am.

🤡 Trump's son spent two days hunting in Mongolia with Umar Kremlev — the very same Russian businessman who paid for part of his wedding celebrations
According to the Financial Times, the two reportedly tried to avoid being photographed together during the trip.
Kremlev was accompanied by Russian businessman Artur Martirosov, a partner at the US-sanctioned venture capital fund Voskhod. Trump Jr. was joined by Kevin Small, a longtime Republican Party donor.
And this isn't the first story linking the US president's son to Kremlev.
ProPublica previously revealed that the Russian businessman had paid for part of Trump Jr.'s wedding celebrations in the Bahamas. Donald Trump Sr. later claimed that the money had been repaid to Kremlev.
A spokesperson for Trump Jr. confirmed his friendship with Kremlev, explaining that the two share a passion for hunting.
💸 Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding in the Bahamas was secretly paid for by a Russian figure close to the Kremlin
According to a ProPublica investigation, Trump Jr.’s wedding to Bettina Anderson in May cost several hundred thousand dollars. The bill reportedly included the rental of a private island for around $100,000 per night and another $70,000 for fireworks.
ProPublica says the expenses were covered by Umar Kremlev, head of the International Boxing Association (IBA). The outlet cites payment records and three sources familiar with the event. According to the investigation, the payment was made through an IBA-linked entity in Dubai.
Kremlev himself also attended the wedding, although his presence was apparently meant to remain low-profile. He was accidentally spotted in a social media post by one of the bride’s friends. A spokesperson for Trump Jr. did not deny the payment, saying only that “Umar is a friend of Don.”
Jared Kushner and Russian businessman Alexander Lagutin, who has ties to Russian defense contracts, were also among the guests.
And the main question remains unanswered: why would someone whose fortune is estimated in the hundreds of millions of dollars need a Russian powerbroker to pay for his wedding?

And yet again, another Trump family scandal, with the same Putin crony ONCE AGAIN in bed with Trump Jr.
The same Putin crony that paid for the Trump family's two day island party is now continuously involved in the Trump family's personal lives.
The Financial Times reveals that Trump Jr. just spent two days hunting in Mongolia with Umar Kremlev, to whom Putin awarded Russia's Order of Friendship in April.
Kremlev paid had only recently paid for two nights of celebrations in the Bahamas, including a private island costing approximately $100,000 per night and a fireworks display costing around $70,000. Payments were routed through a Dubai company affiliated with his boxing organization.
Trump Jr. and his wife acknowledged the gifts. President Trump subsequently said his son would reimburse Kremlev.
The relationship has now prompted a congressional investigation into possible public corruption and national security risks. Former FBI counterintelligence officials warn that Russian intelligence routinely uses money and personal relationships to cultivate access to powerful Americans.
The president's son is accepting extraordinary hospitality from a businessman connected to Putin's security establishment, while his father directs American foreign policy toward Russia.

“Filing a placeholder charge the defendant can’t be tried on, on the last possible day, under seal, in the third case against the same man, is not routine or ‘widely recognized.’ It is exactly what it appears to be: vindictive,” says a DOJ vet. nbcnews.com/politics/justice…

Why are they surprised when they get exactly what they voted for?
Meet former MAGAt and long-time Trump supporter Wayne DeMario, a Miami guitar shop owner and live music production manager whose "America First" vote just played him out of his own home. He spent decades tuning guitars for stars, but completely misread the room on immigration policy. Now, his business is in limbo, his savings are drained by legal fees, and he is staring at an empty house after his partner of 20 years was rounded up by the very enforcement machine he helped put in office.
For years, DeMario was a loyal, card-carrying member of the MAGA movement. Like many in Miami-Dade's conservative circles, he happily bought into the aggressive rhetoric, convinced that the hardline border crackdowns would only ever target violent criminals. He cast his ballot under the comforting, self-deluding assumption that his own household was completely immune to the policies he was actively voting to inflict on others.
That political fantasy shattered into reality during a routine immigration check-in. His partner of two decades, a Cuban national who had built a quiet, law-abiding life in the United States for nearly a quarter-century, was abruptly detained by ICE and deported to Mexico. Left entirely vulnerable by a system that does not make exceptions for the families of registered Republicans, DeMario has since experienced a brutal awakening.
The shock of the deportation transformed his fierce loyalty into public devastation. Stranded in an empty house and facing catastrophic financial fallout, he launched a GoFundMe to survive the legal costs and began airing his bitter regrets to international media outlets. In a blunt confession to Reuters that exposed the full scale of his political miscalculation, DeMario admitted, "If I had voted for the Democrats, I wouldn't have lost my wife." He has since openly turned on the administration, warning others that the aggressive enforcement apparatus has turned the American dream into an "American nightmare" that swallows the innocent alongside the guilty.

The judge called it straight: Trump’s own Department of Justice had to tell a federal court not to believe the President’s public statements about destroying historic cherry trees and renovating public land. Think about that for a second—the President's legal team asking a judge to disregard his own words as not literally true. That’s not just a double standard; it’s a public admission that presidential statements are divorced from reality when it’s convenient. Then Stephen Miller pops up, yelling about judges not managing golf courses and accusing "The Left" of being mad about a "beautiful" DC, completely ignoring that Trump's plan eliminates public amenities and trees, affecting thousands, all while bypassing proper process. It’s the usual play: talk tough, break things, then scream about judicial activism when someone points out the rules actually apply. alternet.org/lorax/

More scenes from Kyiv overnight where Russians once again poured ballistic missiles onto the city, targeting university dormitories, killing people, injuring many, all in partnership with the White House that refuses to deliver air defenses that Europe paid for.

The Storm is Coming by Joseph Goebbels (1932)
“So our dead comrade Horst Wessel wrote, and we are fulfilling his prophesy. The others may lie, slander, and pour their scorn on us — their political days are numbered.”
“They promised you, workers, citizens and creative Germans, a Reich of freedom and beauty and dignity.”
“People, rise up, and storm, break loose!”
“You are the witnesses, the builders, the will-bearers of our idea and our worldview.”
“Well, we the people have awakened! We have risen against oppression, 15 million people have joined in an army of revenge.”
“You, men, women and comrades, are the bearers, witnesses, builders and finishers of this unique people’s uprising… We have served the truth, and only the truth. For twelve years, they have insulted and outlawed and slandered and persecuted us.”

Replying to @BernardGoldberg
So, Ukraine is coming to our aid if we are attacked? Do you really believe that?

Ukraine did provide military support to the US following the 9/11 attacks, with over 5,000 troops serving in Iraq as the third-largest coalition contingent and contributions to Afghanistan operations.

Trump has only allowed the transfer of 24 patriot missiles to Ukraine over the last 3 months. That is only 2 interceptors delivered a week.
Rather than ending patriot deliveries like Putin wants, Trump is sending a tiny amount so people can't complain he ended all deliveries while 95% of Russia's ballistic missiles still get to hit their targets.

Donald Trump is so desperate for Republicans to win the midterms, he's now offering $1,000,000 to people who report election fraud, if those reported are convicted.
This is how he's going to ensure there are plenty of erroneous reports on Election Day. Without them, there is no way he can try and convince his base that Republicans really won.
It's one more stepping stone to trying to overturn the elections.

🇺🇦 Zelensky says Ukraine has been waiting nearly a month for US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to authorize missile deliveries for Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems, as Russia continues striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Kyiv is pursuing interceptor supplies from the United States, European allies and other countries holding PAC-2 and PAC-3 stocks. But some transfers of American-made missiles require Washington's approval, even when partner countries are prepared to provide them.
Zelensky says he has instructed his team to raise the outstanding authorization with the Americans again. The Washington Post reported last week that Hegseth had neither approved nor rejected requests for Patriot transfers from partner nations.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian repair crews are working virtually nonstop to restore damaged energy facilities, drawing on equipment reserves that Zelensky says must now be replenished.
Ukraine is preparing for another winter under Russian missile and drone attacks, and every delayed interceptor shipment leaves its air defenses under additional pressure.
Kyiv is also seeking to accelerate previously agreed military assistance ahead of November's Ramstein meeting.
