He never said specifically he would “beat”him, to the public, but it was crazy for him to even think that 😂
With all due respect, Valdez was a faded fighter by the time he fought Navarrete and was on the back nine in the rematch.
Valdez and Shakur fought for the lineal title when they fought.
Shakur Stevenson. Fought Oscar Valdez when it mattered, Teofimo and Zepeda alone help out his case too. I like both guys tho!
You’ll never see me eat a pepper unless it’s my moms Chiles Rillenos, I can’t handle spice🤣 (I can’t even eat spicy chips). You might be more mexican than me Sean.
#AskMario Hey guys, I remember sitting at the bar for Roach-Zepeda with Steve Kim HIMSELF saying the only other fight that’s good on the schedule is Navarrete-Foster.
What other fights are needed to grow the sport? I don’t believe micro-habits had anything to do with this fight!
I picked Shock to win (for 3 consecutive years), but you gotta give Navarrete some credit too.
Navarrete was pressing him in rounds 11-12 desperately trying to land something, Foster countered beautifully.
Without Nav pressing him in the 12th, those knockdowns don’t happen.
This don’t apply to me cuz I’ve always given Navarrete his just due, but I also always knew Foster was that guy.
Hopefully at 135, he clearly struggles to make 130. Now that he was a nutritionist, he will be much better at 135!!

Despite O’Shaquie Foster having the GREATEST performance of HIS career last night, I hesitate to say this was a GREAT performance in all of boxing HISTORY‼️
I say this as a true, big fan of Foster who I ALWAYS knew and said he was that guy‼️
