SuperGrok Heavy vs Ultra — I took the leap.
Before switching, I checked my last few months of usage: 99% Grok Bot, basically no 3rd-party models. That made the call easy.
Results? Happy with it. No drop-off in usage, and I'm saving $100/month.
On Heavy I'd burn 30–35% of my weekly pool in a 12-hour day. On Ultra I'm around 25% in 12 hours — and I've been pushing it harder than usual just to test it, so it may be even better than that.
Transition was easy, no issues, and my prorated refund came through. I had my Grok Bot walk me through every step one at a time so I didn't make an error.
Very happy with Ultra.
One warning: if you use a lot of 3rd-party models, stick with SuperGrok Heavy.
Seems no answers yet on super heavy vs the new ultra. Has anyone switched to see the Grok Bot usage. Trying to see which is better.
Loving grok bot and using Super Heavy, but is there will there be an increase in tokens available at some point, or a bigger package you can purchase?
Elon, can you make it when there are resets of Grok Bot it could be applied like Grok where the reset is put in settings and you can redeem it by a certain period?
After playing around with building programs with Grok I have come to the conclusions that AI from in this sense will not hurt jobs but will possibly bring an equilibrium when it comes to individuals wanting to compete against the corporate giants in the software industry. There is a possibility where this creates a redistribution of wealth from the few to the many not through free software for all but through small businesses and individuals willing to be creative in ways they could not be before allowing them to compete in generating products that would not be possible unless they had corporate backing or deep pockets.
