Leaders who inspire growth and change make others feel BIG in their presence and not small. From the administrator all the way down to the captain of the team, love and care are non-negotiables.
If you don't serve, you can't lead.

Great athletes don't talk about how great they are. They just show up, work hard, and remain humble.

What a great week at the @AVCAVolleyball convention.
Couple Takeaways
1. We are gaining great momentum on TV & streaming.
2. We are at a crisis point in officiating. We (coaches, players, fans & parents) must start treating them w/ respect even when they make an error.

Motivation is expressed through behavior. By observing what you do, and how you do it, coaches can tell how motivated you actually are. Don't just say you're motivated. Prove it with your actions!

To improve your performance, you need to talk less and play more. Instead of complaining and talking trash, keep your nose to the grindstone and quietly outwork your competition!

You can't just flip a switch to reach peak performance in games. You have to condition your mind every day to perform your best. If you're mentally lazy during practice, you'll be mentally weak in games.

One person in pursuit of excellence raises the standards of everyone around them. And as they strive for greatness they bring out the greatness in others.
Be that one person today.

Talking, high fives, fist bumps, sprinting to help your teammate off the floor, pointing to them after a good pass, positive involvement from the bench. This is what great programs are built on! Uplift teammates & be an energy giver to your team! It equals TEAM & PROGRAM success!
