First time bringing my Duo into the office today. The only one with one, a lot of folks were eager to see it. Good mix of Apple and Android fans in the office. Was met with ferocious hostility from the Android fans before even getting the Duo out of my pocket. It’s sad.
Trying the Duo without a case on for the day. I’ve never had Apple Care before, I do now, but I’m used to not having that as a backup. I do like the Apple case but it does bulk it out a bit and I don’t like how it restricts the power button when folded.
I have not used my camera today…
My wife mentioned the outer display was saying the “Slide to unlock camera” thing when I was just browsing on my phone earlier, not using the camera.
I think this might be a new glitch??
This app just keeps getting more amazing.
What if the text marks you draw in your notes could automatically adapt, even when your text changes in length or breaks into new lines?
We call it Smart Marks. Underline, circle, strikethrough or highlight text in any color with your finger or Apple Pencil and the Marks become one with your text.
Extra cool on iPhone Duo.
Kid Cue came in handy yesterday when taking family pictures before the Trick or Treat walk! None were looking at any camera, until the Duo turned the feature on.
The iPhone Duo works GREAT as a camera for FaceTime on AppleTV! Just fold it to point towards you and boom, perfect combo.
Took the Duo for a day out. Using the Duo caseless in the Apple Store was so much nicer. This case is great but, once that honeymoon period is over, it’s going in the drawer.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is available to download on the App Store now. Can’t wait to try it out on iPhone Duo! It looks visually stunning. They had it on the Duo’s at the Apple Event.

I’ve been jealous of Samsung’s S Pen for so long, I wished for the day iPhone got Apple Pencil support. Today is that day with iPhone Duo, it works amazingly well! Super happy with how it feels to write on the nano texture display.

The amount of hate directed towards the iPhone Duo is honestly ridiculous. 🤦♂️
• Samsung fans initially went crazy over claims that the Duo was using the same camera sensors as the iPhone 17e. Yet, the device has since proven that it doesn’t rely on inferior sensors, delivering impressive photo and video quality that even surpasses the Z Fold 8 in certain comparisons. Still, some people refuse to acknowledge it. And still say duo has weaker cameras To be fair its has weaker camera system than iPhone to so Z fold 8 has weaker camera than s26u 🤣
• Nobody seems to have the same energy for the Z Fold 8’s compromises, including weaker battery life, no S Pen support, weaker performance compared to duo ,no MagSafe, and no vapor chamber cooling , no ip 68 , terrible speaker placements compared to the Duo. But Samsung fans concerned more about the slight weight difference and thickness make it look like a bigger issue than it really is 🙈But when it comes to Apple, suddenly slight compromise becomes a major issue.even though their side lacks tons of things
• People are already calling the Duo’s app experience unoptimized, despite the device not even being a month old. Developers need time to optimize their apps for a new form factor and aspect ratio. Even there are tons of video out there shows how developers are creating new styles of apps just for duo and its foldable screen Judging the entire experience this early is simply premature.considering the optimized apps is leaps above than what Samsung achieved with 7 years of throwing thier os to dev
Let’s be honest: performance, camera quality, battery life, and the overall OS/UI experience aren’t the Duo’s biggest concerns. Even the app issue people said to be terrible will be vanish away in few months The real issue is the current display problems, which Apple needs to acknowledge and address.
Criticism is fair, but the double standards are getting ridiculous. When it’s Samsung, people preach patience and wait for updates. When it’s Apple, they rush to conclusions before the device has even had time to mature. 🤷♂️🍎
