On behalf of the family of my brother, King Oyo, we wish to make it absolutely clear that no official launch date has been released or shared for the King Oyo Memorial Foundation.
Anyone claiming to be in charge of the launch or management of the Memorial Foundation is running a hoax and distributing false information for personal gain.
The foundation is exclusively managed by our immediate family and close friends who serve on the board.
The concept of the King Oyo Memorial Foundation was initially introduced in my mother’s (the Queen Mother’s) statement, which included projects such as the cancer research centre. It is deeply unfortunate that self seeking individuals are attempting to hijack this idea simply to keep the spotlight on themselves.
When the launch date is officially set in stone, this platform will be among the first verified channels where you will see the information.
Thank you for your vigilance and continued support.

It seems Uganda is slowly waking up. Prof Stephen Akandwanaho seems to be the man for the job (Ministry of ICT and National Guidance). From his biography, he seems more suitable for the job.
Let us calm ourselves down. Kyabazinga didn’t attend, should be blame him with this reasoning too?
Shaaaaaa! 😳 So, does being Baganda make you so important that you can refuse to attend an important meeting with other tribes and the President of Uganda???
Since when did tribal identity become a reason to refuse such an important national engagement? 😭🇺🇬
Taata @cpmayiga onimbyemu😭
Our king died but we shall support his legacy forever.
Princess Komuntale, through her Instagram account, has warned the public against individuals falsely claiming to be in charge of the King Oyo Memorial Foundation or organising its launch. She has clarified that no official launch date has been announced and that the foundation is exclusively managed by the immediate family and close friends serving on its board. She further revealed that the idea was first introduced by the Queen Mother, accusing some individuals of attempting to hijack the initiative for personal gain and publicity. She assured the public that any official announcements regarding the launch will be shared through their verified platforms.

In Uganda we have been having very useless education system for so many years.
I am a teacher who has taught Cambridge curriculum (maths, business studies and economics), Ugandan curriculum (maths and economics) and South Sudan curriculum (maths and commerce) but I can tell you that amongst all these curricula, Uganda had the sh**test and useless curriculum untill when the CBC was introduced.
Ugandan education encouraged memory by asking open ended questions and complicated without much effort to trigger the child’s mind to think. There used to be no teacher student interaction because whatever the teacher said was the absolute truth. Many inherited ugly doctrines and mindsets through teachers.
Cambridge curriculum encouraged a student to think while it provided information. A learner would use the information they got from teachers and together think out something better. I can tell you I enjoyed teaching these children. The class was interactive.
For South Sudan curriculum. Every topic had a project at the end. The learner would get a chance to add practice what they learnt. However their country needs to wake up and implement this curriculum if they want to grow. It should not remain on paper.
I am happy with the ministry of Education and Sports for coming up with the CBC because it’s very helpful to the learners. These days children can discuss with teachers and we see growth. I still request that we remove politics from our Education.
Very soon, a student from the Ugandan curriculum will not have much difference from a student from Cambridge curriculum.
Okey tell us, what is it?

If I were a lady I would choose my husband why;
My husband is the only person who loves me for who I am. He is neither indebted nor obligated to love me. He chooses me everyday like I do choose him.
My husband has future plans with me. We have a vision to achieve and are working hard towards it. He is mine, I own him. That means his richness is mine too.
My brother loves me because he is so. He loves me out of obligation. He is indebted because he is my brother. If I were not his sister, he wouldn’t love me.
My brother will have a wife and I will never be his first priority. His wife will always be.
So, I will always choose my husband over my brother.
Sheikh should be taught that there is a difference between traditional religion and witchcraft.
Buganda as a culture has its religion that doesn’t contradict other substantive religions like Catholicism. There are however some things the Catholic Church corrects in Buganda traditions which the Baganda have also agreed to correct.
Every religion respects life and worships the supreme God through tradition. Buganda worships the supreme God through its ancestors (jajas) who are not worshiped.
It is wrong to assume that Buganda traditional religion is evil. It’s the way Baganda understand God. That is why they call him “katonda”(creator).
Respecting people’s traditional religion is the beginning of good worship.
Let Solomon teach, he has a right to.

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of being prepared at all times. Through the parable of the ten virgins, Jesus teaches us that preparation is not something we should postpone until the last minute. The five wise virgins understood that the bridegroom could arrive at any moment, so they carried extra oil for their lamps. The foolish ones, however, assumed that they would have enough time to prepare when the need arose. Their mistake was not simply forgetting the oil but failing to appreciate the importance of being ready. In our daily lives, whether in our spiritual journey, education, work, relationships or responsibilities, preparation is essential.
If we do not prepare ourselves for life, the circumstances of the world will eventually prepare us, but not always with compassion; sometimes they will teach us through painful experiences, missed opportunities, disappointments and hard lessons. Life does not always give us a second chance to correct what we neglected to do when we had the opportunity.
Therefore, Jesus challenges us to develop a spirit of constant readiness. We cannot wait for a crisis to begin praying, for failure to begin working hard, for broken relationships to begin showing love, or for old age to begin thinking about eternity. Preparation is a daily responsibility.
The oil in our lamps represents the faith, wisdom, discipline, good deeds and spiritual commitment that we must continually cultivate. Moreover, nobody can completely prepare on our behalf; just as the wise virgins could not give away their oil, each of us must take personal responsibility for our choices and spiritual growth.
Let us therefore learn to live each day consciously, making the right decisions and fulfilling our responsibilities while we still have the opportunity. The greatest mistake is not failing to recognise the arrival of the bridegroom, but living as though we have unlimited time to prepare for him.
As Jesus reminds us: “Stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
