Another upcoming concert to keep Venice alive and thriving! I'm one of a group of visiting (mostly) English singers and instrumentalists; composers include G Gabrieli, Croce, Viadana, and Schütz (who studied in Venice with Gabrieli). – at Poplar, London
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary I remember it well: I was in SF, visiting our son, who had just started working at Twitter. It was a great place to work, and a good community to join. Since Musk, none of that is true: I sometimes read tweets; never post.
Lovely place: only a few steps away from the main pedestrian route from station to San Marco, but (usually) blissfully uncrowded.
A burst of flavors in our cicchetti: lardo in conca wrapped with oven-roasted radicchio tardivo and a sprinkle of smoked ricotta. An authentic experience to savor, where every bite tells the story of the region.
