It鈥檚 PET-TOBER in the Library Learning Commons! A fun contest is starting where students can try to guess which pet belongs to which staff member. Most of our pets in the pictures are reading books! Prizes will be drawn randomly throughout the month for correct guesses!

Admin: kids need to be in class and off their phones. Kid #1: Can I go to the restroom? Teacher: you went to the restroom before class, wait until class ends. (3 minutes later) Admin: we just got a call. Is it true you refuse to let your students go to the restroom? Please let kid#1 go to the restroom, her parents are very upset with you. Kid#2: can I go to the restroom? Sure, if you hand over your phone for me to hold, you can go to the restroom. Kid#2: that is stupid. (3 minutes later) Admin: we just got another call. Please let kid#2 go to the restroom. (30 minutes later) Admin: we found kid#2 making Tik Tok videos in the restroom. Why are your students out of class and on their phones? Teacher: 馃槓 #edchat

I don't want to be cynical, but does anyone ever think that the gov WANTS #OntEd workers to strike? Think about it; workers get all the blame and it saves the gov money. By picketing just 3 days in 2019/2020 we more than paid for our own 1% "raise". What's the down side for them?
