I'm moving on Twitter! Maintaining two Twitter accts has proven to be challenging, so I'm going to focus on one. I'll be @Jen_Ralls tweeting about libraries, librarianship, education, & other adventures. This account will stay open, but w/ no new tweets.

We earned the @PearDeck Super Engaging Badge for creating 1,000 moments of engagement in the library! So grateful to have this tool to use as I change my approach to teaching this year! @a_v_newman @JudiGr8haus @EliMistretta

Using this book for K-1 this week! After listening, we discuss how we can be kings/queens and make the world a better place. My favorite answer...wear a mask. @JudiGr8haus @EliMistretta @JSESprincipal
An #MLKDay book for pre-k to grade 2. Be a King: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Dream and You. A braided call-and-response narrative encouraging children to serve others. Illustrated by James Ransome.
Spent the past two weeks introducing @FollettLearning Lightbox books to students in grades 2-5. They loved it, and I can't wait to share Lightbox with teachers in January. @JudiGr8haus
Watched "Staying Legal in a Pandemic: Crucial Copyright Issues for Instruction" with Joyce Johnston @VAASL 2020 Virtual Conference while eating lunch. Very informative! @JudiGr8haus @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta
Just caught @cicelythegreat at the @VAASL 2020 Virtual Conference in between teaching classes. I am so inspired right now! #readwoke @JudiGr8haus @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta

As she placed her book in the quarantine box to return it to the libraray this week, a Kindergartener whispered (with the slightest bit of sadness in her voice), "I'm going to miss you!" 😀😍😪 @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta @JudiGr8haus
After two weeks of introductions and tours of the library, we are ready to start checking out books to students this week! @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta @JudiGr8haus
Excited to meet new kiddos and welcome them to this awesome space tomorrow! @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta @JudiGr8haus @fcpsk12
What a difference a week makes! Pic#1: last week. Pic#2: this week...books moved, shelves set/locked, furniture placed. Next week: posters/decorations/plants will be added...and then, students will come!😁 @JSESprincipal @EliMistretta @JudiGr8haus @fcpsk12
