Lakers new bench lineup combo with Adou Thiero made it's debut last night and it was active to sum it up
In only 6 minutes, this lineup had 6 offensive rebounds (6 of the Lakers 17 total) and Thiero accounted for 4 of them himself
They also went 6 mins without a single TO
Jake Laravia is off to a tremendous start this season
58.8% from 3 (1st on team)
59.4% FG (2nd on team)
1.6 SPG (3rd on team)
1.0 BPG (T-2nd on team)
1.4 OREB (T-2nd)
+7.3 net when on court
+39 +/- on the season
Small sample, but this is what a bounce back looks like👌
Mannn imagine Stew as the Lakers backup center rn 😪
Isaiah Stewart thought he might be heading to Lakers or Wizards before Grizzlies trade
“I got a call from my agent, and he's thinking it's maybe the Wizards or the Lakers, and called me back a couple minutes later and said Trajan called, and he got a deal from Memphis that he can't turn down.”

Lakers grades through 7-2 start, based on their role expectations:
Luka: A+
Laravia: A
Ziaire: A
Thybulle: A
Reaves: B+
Kessler: B+
Mamu: B
Vando: B-
Sexton: C
Grimes: C-
Looney: F
Luka has been historically great, while Reaves/Kessler have been mostly good aside from a couple poor games.
Thybulle, Ziaire, and Laravia have shattered expectations, especially given how little they are being paid. All shooting >42% from 3 while playing great defense
Mamu has been solid, but looking to see more efficiency. Vando hasn't done much but just being average is 100x better than Looney.
Grimes had a good start but has fallen off dramatically as of late. Sexton is also incredibly volatile but has had good moments. These two need to be better
Goga Bitadze is getting DNPs in Orlando right now even with Banchero hurt. I know there's history between him and Luka, but man he would be a big upgrade at backup C
- Good rim protector (6.4% career blk%)
- Rebounding (11.4 reb per 36 since 23')
- Good screener
- Only 27
Price may not be too bad either with him under an expiring deal
Lakers would take this deal in less than 2 seconds lol
Jarred Vanderbilt could be an interesting trade target for Portland at the deadline.
He’s an elite defensive player, and Dame has even expressed interest in playing with him in the past.
He wouldn’t need to play heavy minutes, but his defensive versatility, energy, and ability to disrupt opposing offenses could make this team extremely dangerous come playoff time.
His price could be as low as two second-round picks. Portland also has the full MLE exception and could potentially absorb his contract without giving up a single player.
Would you want Vando in Portland? 👀
