I’ll be honest I just don’t think I can commit to 2025 right now. I need a gap year or something. Just some time to find myself and figure out if another calendar year is really what I want to do with my life.

Writing is worthwhile even if you're not getting published in fancy magazines. It's worthwhile even if you're not getting published at all. If you're enjoying yourself, if you're creating art that's meaningful to you, if you like the feeling of creating something, it's worthwhile

My short story, “Henna Is Just Roots,” is now available to read on the Georgia Review site.
Set in Kakamega town, it follows the friendship between two young girls, Sabina and Kadogo, until they are ripped apart during the 2007/08 PEV.
Give it a read.
