Pohang s 3-3 goal saw a push as ball was floated in resulting in a Gamba DF being pushed bank, to keep FW onside AND that DF having to get back into position too late to defend the cross. EXACTLY the kind of thing VAR should be used for.
Gamba have come close to a winner FOUR times in added time!! 3-3 but looking for the win!! Pohang cling on for a point!
Gamba conceded the 2-2 goal but Sumi takes pass from Yamashita and immediately restores Gamba’s lead! 3-2… 10 minutes to go!
Finally referee gives Eli Adams a foul. Six or seven times he’s been fouled, nothing given. Last laugh first him! He converts the free kick! 2-1!! I suspect he’ll be off soon with bruised ribs from one of those challenges!
Very much a reserve team for Antlers at Buriram.

What’s up with Pohang? More Gamba fans than home fans? When camera shows “home” fans, I see Premier League team shirts?
Gamba Osaka - playing a reserve team - finally 1-0 up in Pohang, as Meshino heads home a cut back after a fine move. Well-deserved lead.
Japan squad for upcoming games in Singapore.
Notes:
Shio Fukuda (Karlsruhe) in for first time.
Koki Machida (Hoffenheim),Takumi Minamino (Monaco) back after injuries.
Coventry's Tatsuhiro Sakamoto a surprise return to the NT after good form in Premier League.
Super goal for Ratchaburi by Ekanit Panya after ball given away in lazy cross-field pass as Vissel went into attack mode. 25 yard curler into too corner, good enough to win any match… but it won’t. Vissel equaliser as I type!
It’s as if a hardly-bothered Vissel realised they were suddenly behind so went for it and scored. But can they now get another?
Another of those vertical videos that don’t show context, or enough to be relevant. In this case, the second shot appears to be offside anyway. Was it? We will never know!
Kashiwa Reysol 2-0 up on goals from Endo and Fujio while Vissel Kobe have been pegged back to 1-1… 15-ish to go
In both games.
7370 is attendance at Vissel.
Ref continues to be decent, advantage plates for Vissel after bad challenge, but yellow given later .. in fact red being checked now, too …
