“When I wrote the first Why Did I Get Married?, I thought, you know, marriage would be a good idea at some point. But at this age, no, that’s not a good idea for me. So no, there won’t be any marriage for me.”

Tyler Perry in his recent interview was asked whether he sees himself getting married. He made it clear that he won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

I actually agree with him. He’s a highly successful man who has built a huge empire and clearly wants to protect what he’s worked for. His decision not to marry makes sense to me, especially when you have significant assets and resources to lose. I think he’s right.

When our team supervisor resigned, I expected to be considered for the position because I understood how the department operated.
I’ve handled difficult client complaints, trained new employees, and often helped my manager when things became overwhelming.
I’ve been at the company for almost five years, and I was one of the most experienced employees in the customer service department.
I had already discussed my interest in the role with my manager, and he told me I was a strong candidate.
A few weeks later, he called a team meeting to announce the new supervisor.
To my surprise, he introduced his nephew, Trevor, who had joined the company only four months earlier.
I was disappointed because I had spent years working with some of our biggest clients, while Trevor was still learning how our department operated.
After the meeting, I approached my manager.
Me: “Can I ask why Trevor was chosen for the supervisor position?”
Manager: “He has good leadership potential, and I believe he can bring fresh ideas to the team.”
Me: “I understand, but I thought my experience would at least be considered.”
Manager: “You do excellent work, but being good at your job doesn’t automatically mean you’re ready to manage people.”
Me: “Was there an interview process or any assessment?”
Manager: “We considered several things before making the decision. I don’t want you to take it personal.”
I didn’t want to argue, so I thanked him and returned to work.
What made things more frustrating was that Trevor started coming to me for help with almost everything.
He struggled with our reporting system, didn’t know how to handle certain client complaints, and regularly asked me to explain procedures he was supposed to oversee.
At first, I helped him because I didn’t want the department to suffer.
I even stayed late a few times to show him how we handled difficult client accounts.

A wealthy businessman walked into a small real estate office.
Rich Man: “How much for the plot of land near the river?”
Agent: “₦25 million. The documents are complete.”
Rich Man: “I'll take it.”
He transferred the money immediately and left.
Thirty minutes later, another man entered the same office.
Poor Man: “Please, how much is that land near the river?”
Agent: “₦25 million.”
Poor Man: “I have ₦8 million. Would you consider selling it for that amount?”
The agent laughed.
Agent: “₦8 million? Sir, that's not even close to the asking price.”
Poor Man: “I understand. Thank you for your time.”
He picked up his old folder and headed towards the door.
Agent: “Wait! Why are you so interested in that particular land?”
Poor Man: “My father worked on that land for 30 years. He planted every tree there. Before he died, he told me never to let anyone build on it because there's an old community well underneath.”
The agent paused.
Agent: “A well? What does that have to do with anything?”
Poor Man: “That well supplies water to three nearby villages. The land may look ordinary, but people depend on it.”
The agent quickly checked the property's records and discovered that the community had been searching for the well's ownership documents for years.
Agent: “Why didn't you tell me this earlier?”
Poor Man: “Because I didn't come here to make money. I came to protect something my father spent his life preserving.”
The agent sat silently for a moment.
He eventually contacted the previous owner, and together they agreed to donate the land to the community.
The poor man signed the documents without receiving a single naira.
The following week, the wealthy businessman returned to begin construction.
When he discovered what had happened, he became furious.
Rich Man: “You sold me land that you later gave away?”
Agent: “You bought a piece of land. That man reminded us it was part of people's lives.”
The rich man looked through the window at villagers collecting water.
For the first time, he understood something money hadn't taught him.
Sometimes, the most valuable things in the world aren't the things you can afford to buy.

🚨 BREAKING: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has reportedly been spotted looking unwell and visibly distressed on the streets following shocking claims surrounding a DNA test that allegedly revealed his two daughters are not biologically his. 💔
When the hospital called Daniel at 2:17 AM, the nurse asked him a question that made his blood run cold.
"Sir, are you the son of Mr. Robert Williams?"
"Yes. What's wrong?"
"Your father has been brought in. He was involved in an accident."
Daniel hadn't spoken to his father in eight years.
Not since the man missed his university graduation.
Not since he promised to attend his wedding and never showed up.
Not since Daniel decided that some people didn't deserve a second chance.
But the nurse's next sentence changed everything.
"Sir, you're the only person he asked us to call."
