I've loved having the latest bunch of #StudentNurses working with us. In 12 weeks they've achieved so much and now they are all qualifying and starting the next step in their careers.

1 of the best bits of my job is the hands on training. These wonderful ladies are part of the admin team at Throckley & we have signed them off as phlebotomists after finishing their training. I love helping people find career development in #GeneralPractice 🥰 @NewcastleGPs

Part 4 of my nursing story: I realised very quickly that I didn't enjoy working in the hospital. Everything I was being taught was based in the hospital, & it was very daunting.

Our 2023 project brought over 100 students into general practice and saw over 700 health checks delivered to patients. @HelenLStainsby
In 2024 Becky won for her incredible project working in her local food bank offering health and wellbeing advice in the community

Today was extra special, though.
I was taking part in @NewcastleGPs project to help increase 2-3 year old flu uptake. We are going into nursery's to help make it easier to access the vaccine. Woohoo!
