Yesterday brought an end to my first season on the Yorkshire U18’s county programme. Another opportunity to learn from some fantastic coaches and a huge benefit to my own personal development. The programme offers so much to young players in their continued playing journey.

A dominant display to wrap up the second block of our season and head into the Christmas break. A great way to bounce back after a tough loss and get back to the things that we do really well. So much development still in this group, too.

Could not be prouder. The girls gave 110% in that game and were rewarded for their hard work. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

A great first hit out for the group and the first for me in the new colours. Important to put into practice a lot of what we’ve been implementing over pre season. Even more pleasing to see the effort and attitude to scramble and work hard for each other. 🦢 🦢 🦢 @selby_rufc

Privileged and honoured to lead the England Community Lions u21’s side as we head into our international block with the senior women. An exciting group of young athletes who we are lucky to work with. Brilliant to see the female pathway beginning to emerge, too. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁

Clothes lined up like my first day back at school🏫😂 Really excited to get back into it with the England Community Lions Women today for our first selection session ahead of this year’s block of fixtures. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏉

A great opportunity for a company or persons to help support a rapid growth area of the club. In a huge year for female rugby in this country. If you or someone you know might be interested - please feel free to get in touch. @selby_rufc

🏉🌹 A great evening down at the club with some of our pathway girls given the opportunity to take part in filming for coach development resources with England Rugby. 🏉🌹 Massive thanks to the man - @will_stoker for facilitating!👏🏻

A cracking game and great atmosphere at the @RedRosesRugby game v Italy in the Six Nations. Some nice, free flowing rugby played to showcase the game in the North!

A morning of 7’s over at @HillHouseSport 🏉 Some great attacking intent on display from all sides. Particularly pleasing to see how willing our Selby u16’s were to move the ball and play. The sun even made an appearance ☀️

Friday Night Lights! A great experience for our u14’s tonight in their Yorkshire Cup quarter final against @RufcCastleford. A game played in the right spirit by both sides and a hard fought win for our girls. 🔴🟡🟢

An impressive performance given the adversity faced before and during the game. Great rewards for perseverance and hard work.

Best of luck to all girls representing the county this weekend. A special good luck to the girls representing from our club. Enjoy every minute. @selby_rufc
