💰😱 THE GREEDY MERCHANT WHO LOST EVERYTHING Mr. Okoro was a wealthy merchant who owned several shops and warehouses. But no matter how much money he made, he always wanted more. Whenever food became scarce, he bought huge quantities and hid them until prices increased. Then he sold them at outrageous prices while poor families struggled to survive. One day, an old woman begged him to sell her rice for her hungry grandchildren. He laughed and said, “If you cannot afford my prices, go somewhere else!” Months later, disaster struck. Heavy rains destroyed the village farms, and food became scarce. Mr. Okoro saw an opportunity to become richer and raised his prices again. But this time, the villagers stopped buying from him. Other traders also refused to do business with him because of his reputation. Soon, his shops became empty, and the food in his warehouses began to spoil. For the first time, the wealthy merchant realized that he had money but no customers, no friends, and nobody willing to help him. He had sacrificed everything for wealth. Heartbroken, he apologized to the villagers and began treating them fairly. 🔥 MORAL LESSON: Greed can make you rich temporarily, but it can destroy everything you’ve worked for. Never sacrifice your humanity for money. 💬 Do you believe greed is the enemy of success?
