I find it so crazy how people talk more about the root of evil and corruption of money rather then the blessing of money. The Bible teaches that being able to enjoy your wealth, your work, and the success you've achieved is a gift from God. Ecclesiastes 5:19: "Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God." I was reading Ecclesiastes this morning another part that shocked me was that God states that if you spend your entire life making money only for someone else to enjoy it, it is evil. Ecclesiastes 6:1-2: God gives some people wealth, possessions and honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy them, and strangers enjoy them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.
