LB Jack Murray:
Only a freshman, yet entrusted to wear the green dot. Made a game-changing play with the Davidson INT. He’s been on the field a lot when I’ve been able to watch practices. Wouldn’t be shocked if he’s the starter at Mike ‘backer this season.

.@Jack_Murray44 not only made one of the biggest plays of the day for Team NIU, but he also wore the green dot in just his 13th spring practice.
After the game, head coach @robharley34 called the true freshman “one of the smartest guys we’ve ever coached.”
Full interview:
Today’s spring game featured three total interceptions.
Team Huskies CBs @Amari_Williams4 and @FalkeYassine each got a pick — the latter off a HB pass by Telly Johnson.
Freshman linebacker @Jack_Murray44 also had an impressive snag off Brady Davidson right after the Falke INT.
