the best part of this website is you can only hire bald people from them
They’ve reinvented couchsurfing from first principles
What if we could make the SF's generosity accessible to more people?
Launching CrashCouch 🛋️: a community connecting newcomers to SF with locals willing to offer spare space or even a couch for a short stay. free & no plan to monetize. community & safety first.
i moved 5 times in my 1st year in SF. What got me thru was the generosity of ppl around me. SF is full of ppl genuinely willing to help if they see potentials within you. i want to make that generosity more accessible.
referral & invite only (for now). I prioritize women feeling comfortable to be included in the community.
whether you need a place to crash or have space to share in SF, welcome to join: crashcouch.xyz
These are the kind of immigrants America needs, not Somali pirates

It’s a common misconception that Pete had a huge exit with openAI
The truth is he’s actually now an indentured servant at OpenAI to pay back the bill he racked up to build Openclaw
I like how this guy in Orlando Florida has politics of turning India communist lmao
Holy shit it’s the Luthra coin scam guy, posting about turning shit into gold 😂
THIS IS INSANE!!!
A San Francisco startup says it just turned mercury into real gold.
The company is Marathon Fusion. This week they announced they'd made stable gold using fusion neutrons, at 10x the record CERN set in 2025.
CERN's record was 29 picograms over four years. So nobody's pouring bars yet.
The method is what got me. You hit mercury-198 with a fusion neutron. It loses a neutron, becomes mercury-197, and over the next few days decays into gold-197. The exact same gold sitting in central bank vaults.
Their 2025 paper says a one-gigawatt fusion plant built this way could make around 2 tonnes of gold a year as a side product, while it's selling electricity.
I've said it for years. Gold is a shiny rock. It's valuable because there's only so much of it and pulling it out of the ground is hard and expensive.
If this holds up, gold's scarcity turns into an engineering problem. And you can only delay technical progress. You can't stop it.
To be fair, the gold comes out mixed with radioactive isotopes and would need to sit for well over a decade before it's safe to touch. Nobody outside the company has verified the result yet, and commercial fusion is still years away.
Peter Schiff has spent years telling everyone Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
This week a startup says it made gold out of mercury.
There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. No reactor on Earth can make one more.

The state of California cannot be a serious government
Enjoy it while it lasts, because these foids are leaving this dump the moment the funding dries up
SF’s dating pool was once, as an Egyptian founder put it to us, “drier than the desert in my homeland.”
Now, gorgeous women are flocking to the city.
Why? As AI gets cheaper to build, companies flush with venture cash are hiring beautiful women to charm investors and clients.
Enjoy it while it lasts, gentlemen. As @nicolewizman1 writes: paying hotties 6 figures to get drunk with your business prospects feels like a pretty good sign we’re in a bubble. 👇
People like this unironically should be denaturalized and deported
