The hostility of various factions of entertainment fandoms against each other is such a departure from the pop world I grew up in the 80s. Just enjoy music, art, entertainment as little gifts. Sure you can poke fun, but keep it fun (my jokes may not achieve this perfectly but blame my bad writing). Also different people have different tastes, and I've been in the business long enough to know taste and timing fluctuate. I've seen numerous changes. Fads come and go, but what matters to you is all that matters. Each person has a personal story that receives these stories in different ways, and that is beautiful. Focus on that. Trust me, when you are old you're not going to care about the things you hate, but the things you love.
