Many of us in the space started trading memecoins on BSC around six years ago. That was during lockdown, when a lot of us were very isolated. Back then, this was still a very new corner of crypto. BSC gave it what it badly needed: cheap fees, simple access and (most importantly) people. I still remember how easy it felt. Move funds from Binance to BNB, open PancakeSwap and start exploring. It sounds basic now, but at the time, that simplicity mattered. It opened the door for a lot of us. Six years later, I still wouldn't want to build anywhere else. Not just because of the size of the community, but because of the people. They are passionate, inventive, sometimes very funny, and always building. There's a real energy to seeing a new idea appear and watching people rally around it. The ecosystem has changed enormously. There are more builders, more tools, more DEXs and far more things you can create. But the openness and the passion are still there. The memecoin space isn't perfect. Nothing this open and experimental ever will be. But I'm grateful that @BNBCHAIN gave so many of us an affordable, accessible place to participate, experiment and eventually build. This little story is our love letter to that idea. Sometimes, all you need is somewhere to build. 💛

West Ham United have confirmed that Joint-Chair David Sullivan has stepped down from his position with immediate effect. Mr Sullivan has also resigned as a director of both WH Holding Limited and West Ham United Football Club, having been made aware of the impending publication of serious historic allegations. It is understood none of the allegations relate to West Ham United or any of its operations. Through his own legal representatives Mr Sullivan denies any illegal conduct and has taken the decision to step down in order to avoid disruption to the Club while he addresses the matter privately. Interim Chief Executive Officer Karim Virani, reporting into the current Board of Directors, will continue to be responsible for leading the Club’s day-to-day operations. The Club will provide an update on the future structure of the Board of Directors in due course, but will make no further comment at this time.
