Texans current draft haul as we approach the trade deadline: - 5 - 74 - 111 - 186 - 189 - 206 - 239 That ranks them 25/32 in draft power rankings via Tankathon.

The Texans losing to the Colts when they desperately needed a win even without Nico Collins was pretty telling. Losing back to back games to the Colts & Cowboys as the more desperate team is not great.

The Texans offense ran 54 plays from scrimmage on Sunday. They threw the ball on 26 of 32 plays when they had 5 lineman on the field and ran the ball 19 out of 22 times with 6 lineman on the field. There was 12 snaps where the Texans were in heavy 12 personnel (2 TEs + extra OL) with Hutchinson as the lone WR and they ran the ball on 11 of those.

This disguise fools the Texans OL here with their Interior stuck on the DTs who drop into coverage. Giants also are able to generate a 1v1 for Abdul Carter vs Dalton Schultz with inside leverage, which obviously doesn’t go well. Impressive from Stroud to make something happen here.

Impressive win for the Rockets tonight without Smart or Adams and winning back to back games against a solid Hawks team. Not the cleanest day for them with Sengun, Amen, and Durant combing for 15 turnovers. But, Sengun dominated otherwise and had 7 guys in double figures.

The Rockets win 120-110 and start 4-0 for the first time since 2014-2015. Houston was able to survive 21 turnovers today and sweep their season series with the Hawks.

Alperen Sengun dominated today. - 29 Points - 8 Rebounds - 9 Assists - 7 Stocks - 78.3% True Shooting

Ime Udoka met Reed Sheppard halfway on the court there after that 3. Rockets are dominating the 4th with a 20-2 run.

Rockets going with a Reed Sheppard + Fred VanVleet backcourt out of the timeout.

Rockets on a 11-0 run after that Tari Eason steal & three. Alperen Sengun up to 29/5/7 with 5 stocks.

The Rockets offense has been excellent all year with Sengun as the hub in the high post. Multiple really nice passes in the 4th already.

Alperen Sengun has been going at Jock Landale today.

7 straight for the Hawks and Ime Udoka uses a timeout with 1:12 to go in the 3rd. Defense has looked somewhat disjointed today.

Alperen Sengun up to 21 points now on just 10 shots. His touch around the basket this year has been extremely impressive.

Looks like he is moving fine now.

Alperen Sengun gets up slowly after being fouled by Okongwu. He is at the free throw line now.

The Rockets trail 66-63 at halftime in what was an excellent half of basketball. Sengun, Durant, Thompson, and Jabari all in double digits for the Rockets. Jalen Johnson & CJ McCollum combined for 29 for the Hawks.

Really nice minutes for Reed Sheppard in the absence of Marcus Smart so far.

Rockets trail 35-32 at the end of the 1st. 6 turnovers in the 1st with 3 from Amen Thompson is too much.
