When you tell people that you have a brain tumor they think you’re dying. It’s so emotionally exhausting.
I remember when my mom was in hospice she had one person that she was close to her who came to visit but never came to speak to her at all the entire time they were there. She was so upset by it. I didn’t really understand.
Not that I am dying, far from it, but I get it now.
Please don’t ever be that person who is so afraid of death that they can’t say good bye. If it scares you, just imagine how scared they might be.
Find your peace. Everyone dies. It’s a part of our physical lives on earth and everyone deserves our love regardless of what they’re going through, and especially if they’re dying.

What you comment on, click on and post about is what is going to populate your feed. Good, bad, or indifferent.
Talk about what you want to see.

If you happen to find your way to something I post, come in and drop stupidity, insults or attempt to poke the bear... This bear doesn't bother getting mad. Your comment gets hidden, you get blocked, you F off, I go on with my life after snarking about your dumb ass. Have a life.

X locked my account for violating their rules against violent media with one post that wasn’t violent in any way and also just happened to go viral with over 3M impressions. Then they ignored my appeals for 2 months, ultimately leaving me only one option to regain access to my paid account; delete the viral post. Here is my story.
In early August I posted an oddly funny video of a camel floating along a lazy river in the desert while other animals looked on. The caption I wrote was meant to be humorous and in the style of a Far Side cartoon. To my amazement and joy the post went viral, receiving over 3 million impressions and over 20k positive engagements. It was exhilarating to finally hit a home run on X, and I was thrilled with the response and the interactions from other X accounts.
Early in the morning of Aug 6 I woke to the notice captured in the first picture. I was jolted awake with shock. The notice hit me like a wicked sucker punch to the gut. It was beyond comprehension how anyone or even AI could view my post as violent in any way. Rather than delete the post, I opted to appeal. Within 3 hours, X rejected my appeal. Sensing an AI driven auto-reject, I immediately appealed again that same morning. The second picture shows what I received after my second appeal. I waited a month. Nothing. I filed another appeal. Waited another month. Nothing. Ultimately, after 2 months of waiting, I reluctantly came to the realization that there would be no review, and that X had likely buried my appeal in a never to be dealt with file. I deleted the post.
I’ll never know who or why someone reported my post. I will also likely never know why X ignored my appeals, if my original appeal was auto rejected by AI, or if a real human ever looked at any of my appeals at all. Here is what I do know. Anyone on X can lose access to their account at any time for reasons legitimate or not, and there likely won’t be a damn thing you can do about it regardless of your account status being basic, premium, or premium+.
Good luck on here. It can all be erased by software in an instant.

I’ve not been very productive on here, but in real life my house is clean and my bills are paid.
Life’s pretty good and I am thankful.
I hope this doesn’t end up being AI, dogs are great.
ALERT: Dog fetches the police and leads them back to his home, where cops find the dog's owner lying on the floor of the garage after he fell.
Leawood Police Department officers in Kansas noticed a dog in the middle of the street with no owner in sight, and it started barking at them.
An officer approached the pup and said, "Hi, why don’t you go on back home?"
The officers followed the dog back to its home, where police say the owner had fallen and been on the ground for more than 3 hours.
"Thanks to the resident’s loyal companion, our officer was able to find them and get them the help they needed… The resident was treated by medical personnel and is now recovering safely at home."
