I've wiped the slate clean and moved to greener pastures. I may still RT stuff here but it would mean a lot if you followed me elsewhere as I won't be very active here any more π

π¨ Very important vote on AI & copyright in UK parliament next week - please contact your MP β¬οΈ
The great Baroness Kidron added common-sense amendments to a bill, requiring overseas AI companies to respect UK copyright law if they want to operate here. Incredibly, the government removed these.
The bill must not proceed without these amendments being reinserted. There is no legitimate reason for the government not to require overseas AI companies to adhere to British copyright law if they want to operate in the UK.

π¨ We need as many people as possible who care about British creators to respond to the government's consultation on AI and copyright. There's still time.
I wrote some draft responses that you can edit/use - hopefully there's some useful stuff here.

Hey guys, so it's been a really, really rough year and if you could help by either donating or sharing, that would be splendid. I'm basically at the point where I don't know where to ask for help anymore, so I've created a GoFundMe to help: gofund.me/89dec297
