I can't process how fantastic yesterday was. Five years of pain and dipping (8x) in various counties of this bird finally put to rest with incredible views of the Black-Browed Albatross yesterday evening at Bempton Cliffs. I've never been more relieved and happy to see a bird.

The Melodious warbler found by Andy Stoddart performed superbly at close range feeding in a few bushes at the far end of middle point. The magic of Blakeney point watching such a rare bird for Norfolk with just a small handful of people!

Birds were pouring in and literally dropping at out feet from 16:30 til dark. I suspect numbers were actually higher but incredibly difficult to keep tabs with birds moving through all the time. Best of luck to those up there today.

Excellent views of the Hudsonian Godwit along the river Stour by Cattawade this morning. The bird loosely associated with the Black-tailed godwits but would feed quietly on its own away from the main group of Godwits.

A new personal record for the @Team_eBird global big day yesterday! 153 species of bird recorded in 24hr period in the county of Norfolk alone. Absolutely exhausting but oh so fun made better doing it alongside friends in glorious weather! ebird.org/tripreport/512636
