The @ASCPharm policy team and I attended @HouseCommerce's markup today, including #HR3164, which ensures older adults can access critical testing & treatment for respiratory infections at pharmacies.
The ASCP team was on the Hill today, outside the hearing room for the markup of the Main Street Pharmacy Services Act (H.R. 3164). Thank you @housecommerce

Since President Trump started his war with Iran in February, families in my district have paid:
🏠 $991 more for housing
🧺 $310 more for groceries
⛽ $637 more in gas
This is not the affordability he promised. It's the consequences of his actions.

The Stop Insider Trading Act doesn't stop members of Congress from owning or selling stocks.
It doesn't touch the executive branch either.
It is nothing more than a voter suppression bill disguised as a false promise.
Americans deserve better than to be lied to.

Hey, @HouseGOP.
LOWER. COSTS. NOW.

Staff at Congress' Joint Economic Committee crunched the numbers and found American families lost $219 billion to higher inflation costs last year, which comes to $1,625 per family.
Meanwhile Donald Trump made at least $2.2 billion in 2025.

$900 million for White House vanity projects? Approved.
$1 trillion tax cut for the 1%? Approved.
$1 trillion for war with Iran? Approved.
Lower grocery, housing or gas prices? Sorry, you're on your own.
Money for billionaires. Money for war. Nothing for working people.
Don't your control their funding Madame Chairwoman?
Couldn't you have mandated this before they started murdering people or was that too difficult?
I am pleased to announce that as of today at 2pm, all ICE enforcement officers in Maine have been equipped with body-worn cameras and trained in their use.
When I spoke with ICE Acting Director Venturella last month, he committed to deliver body-worn cameras to ICE agents across the country by the end of August. I urged him to prioritize Maine, and they have arrived more than two weeks ahead of schedule.

I’m a doctor. This executive order is wrong. The President does not have the expertise to make these changes.
Vaccines are overwhelmingly safe. Vaccines are effective. Vaccines DO NOT cause autism.
Breaking up vaccines will mean children have to get more shots to get the same protection, not fewer shots. It will increase hesitancy and make children less safe.
Parents should listen to their child’s pediatrician about vaccines rather than listening to an inaccurate executive order. This is so wrong.

The FBI will no longer investigate ICE agents for crimes they commit while enforcing immigration law.
Don’t ever tell me again that this isn’t the Gestapo.
"A person might get tested and treated for several common respiratory illnesses by their community pharmacist their entire life. But the day that person turns 65 and enrolls in Medicare, they can no longer go to the pharmacist for those services."

Anyone who works in pharmacy or healthcare is NOT surprised that @CVSHealthPBM is using audits to punish pharmacies for speaking out against their abuses that hurt patients and increase healthcare costs.
Glad to see @AGJamesUthmeier responding strongly!
Been on the phone with @Aetna for an hour-plus and talked to four representatives -- why do none of them know (or are willing to share) the information for the patient representative serving on the formulary decision-making body?

Despite the Congressional recess, ASCP's advocacy team isn't taking a break. Today, we attended the #NationalHealthCouncil's Washington Representatives Summer Meeting. The convening begins together advocacy leaders to ensure that patients are put first.
