Baltimore, ICYMI: today we announced legislation to establish a new agency which will serve as the third branch of public safety in Baltimore City.
The Department of Neighborhood Safety (DNS) will support the progress and hard work of @BaltimoreMONSE, and will create a new, comprehensive alternative response system to ensure that when residents call 911, they receive a response that meets their needs.
This is a major step forward in building the future of public safety in our city.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage of our first responders, and stand with the families forever impacted. On this National Day of Service, may we honor their memory through service, unity, and care for one another.
